I was busy looking at all the different  flowers in the Heart Kingdom. Everyone had basically sent me away from the kingdom because of a reason they wouldn't tell me. As long as they didn't burn down the kingdom which might actually be possible with an angry Mereoleon. I sighed as all different types of flowers with bright colours and even beautiful pale colours surround me. It was a pleasant sight to behold.

"(M/N)?"

"Yes Gad?"

The man spotted me as I waved him over. He stood next to me very quietly as I marvelled out loud to him about all the flowers. I made us some Crimson Oranges to eat while I spoke. He had the occasional retort but mostly a small soft smile on his face. Pouting, I asked him why I had basically been kicked out from the kingdom for the day. He couldn't really give me an answer but something told me he knew so I tried interrogating him. Sadly, he didn't crack.

"It's for your own good (M/N)"

"But... what if the kids are in danger?"

"You're worrying too much (M/N). I assure you they will be fine"

"If you say so.."

Gadjah sat next to me and I managed to get him to lay his head on my lap so I could play with his hair. It was soft. I smiled as he talked about some of the plants in this Kingdom. I listened with a soft smile on my face. My fingers couldn't help but touch his scar as gently as possible as if I would hurt him. He seemed content where he was so I then took over the conversation. He sat back up soon after and let me lay my head on his lap which made me red but I agreed to it.

"You're hair is getting long again..."

"Ah, maybe you could cut it for me. I trust you. Your hair seems well trimmed all the time Gad"

"I could right now, I would just need some scissors."

Getting up, I went inside with Gadjah in hand as I asked politely from Lolopechka for some scissors. It was still hard to remember her name but I tried. I also got a cloth and we went to the bathroom which had a large viewing mirror. Gadjah got a chair for me and told me to sit which I did. I smiled eagerly as he wrapped the cloth around me. The he began skillfully trimming away as I tried my best to sit still.

"You're doing well (M/N)"

"Thank you Gad"

The sharp pointy blade of the scissors made me very nervous but I had to trust Gadjah. He seemed to know what he was doing. I wondered if he cut his own hair. When he was done, he blew on my neck to get out any other hair strands before combing it for me. It looked great and I couldn't help but twirl a lot in admiration while I praised him. He turned slightly pink under all the compliments. Smiling, I gave him a hug before shyly pulling away with a red hue dusting my cheeks. Gadjah hummed as he took my hand to lead me back outside in the wonderful pure nature of the Kingdom. He showed me around all over.

"If you want there is a place to see fireflies nearby a river. I could take you there sometimes, just us perhaps. A-As friends I mean"

"Y-Yes, that would be splendid!"

Bashfully, my hands were infront of my face as I thanked him. My face was most likely pure red at this moment. Flowers started blooming around me since I was just too happy which Gadjah lightly chuckled at. His hand took mine again as we left to see the more unique flowers as he told me the history of the Heart Kingdom. All my worries were slowly drifting away and I found myself even laughing with him.

Soon, we had to head back to the throne room of the Heart Kingdom. I was unaware we had gotten quite close as we walked back together. My head on his arm while our fingers were interlaced together in a soft and gentle grip. It was nice and warm to me. Lolopechka was waiting there to greet us and that's when she pointed out our state with a smile but Gadjah and I tried to explain it was just friendship.

"Hmm, sure. I love making googly eyes at my friends while holding their hands with red cheeks" She teased.

"A-Ah wa-"

I couldn't even form a coherent sentence so Gadjah explained to Lolopechka for me and I silently thanked him as I hid behind his figure. He turned to me and pulled me away by my wrist from the room to a more private room and I could hear Undine's and Lolopechka's giggles as we left. He apologised but I assured him it was fine. He offered to take me to the library so we could read a book or two while waiting for everyone else to let me back into the Kingdom. I had managed to calm down quickly enough.

"Woah, Gad these books... they're so different and these are about rune magic! Can you teach me?"

"I do not see a problem"

"Thank you!"

The library here was slightly different. There were circular bookshelves and the centre had no chairs but instead a grassy floor with pillows around. It screamed comfortable and I eagerly sat down with a thick book in hand. Gadjah would read to me since I didn't know how to read runes at all. I sat next to him so he could explain with ease about the whole concept and it's history while I listened intently. My mouth opening occasionally to let out a sound of amazement.

"I could always teach you more about runes whenever you need help"

"Really?! Thank you!"

The next few hours, that was all we did and I enjoyed it.
