Lindsay looked shocked.
"Ise don't sees why wese need changes 'ere," she almost pleaded.
"Ise not dat old and Ise loves workin' 'ere at da Pub."
Bill smiled.
"I know hun, but I have a plan for you."
Lindsay wiped a tear from her eye.
"Okay. What bes yer plan?"
"How would you like to run the new Sandy Cove Resort?"
Lindsay's eyes opened wide.
"Youse means da new motel and restaurant and such?"
"If you want, we would love to have you as the manager."
Lindsay jumped up from her chair and ran to Bill, giving him a big hug and quick kiss on the lips.
"Yes. Yes."
Matty shook her head.
"What is it with all the women in this Bay kissing my husband."
"'cause wese all loves 'im," Lindsay reminded her.
She walked to Matty and kissed her cheek.
"And wese loves youse too, Matty."
Matty patted the chair and Lindsay sat down.
Bill continued.
"We want Lindsay to be General Manager of the new resort, as I said, but we are leaving it up to Lindsay as to who she wants to work with her, at the resort and who will run the Pub here."
"What's about dis idea?" Lindsay interrupted.
"What about Ise manages both da resort and da Pub? And Ise will 'ave Yolanda and Valerie as my assistants fer both places and together, we will decide who else wese will 'ire and what positions dey will take."
