To the kitchen table, Sapporo sat, feeling very nervous, crayos mother was taking a shower since she just came home from work, while crayo was to the kitchen, behind Sapporo working on a grand feast with a giant smile to his face.
He was very delighted his boyfriend was going to meet his mom, yes it was a bit awkward after what just occurred but still he was tickled pink.
Finished, he plated the food to then turn to place one before sapporo, another right beside him, the other in an empty spot, sitting right next to sapporo he eyed him, could tell he was nervous.
"Sapporo, you need to calm down, nothing is going to happen."
He took a deep breathe to then turn his head to eye crayo.
"I had a whole different plan for when I was going to meet your mother, not this."
Crayo shrugged, he then placed his hand over his, he stroked the back with his thumb.
"Things that are important rarely goes according to plan. So let's make due."
Crayo gave his breathe taking smile.
Sapporo couldn't help but smile back, all his worries seemed to ease with crayo by his side and how he put things.
I really hope I make a great impression, I need this boy to move in with me. I love him so much.
Both turning there heads, his mother came in to sit, Sapporo tried to take his hand away, with respect for his mother however crayo was not having that, he gripped to eye his mom with a smile.
She sat to eye the food.
"Oh wow, crayo, you have really out done yourself, making my favorite meal then I received that grand bouquet, I just have the sweetest son ever."
She brought her hand up to pinch his cheek then she eyed Sapporo.
"Sorry, for being a bit disrespectful, who might you be?"
"I am...."
"He is my boyfriend mom, he is here to ask you for my hand in marriage." Crayo interrupted.
Sapporos eyes widen to eye him.
Eyeing his mom, she bursted in laughter.
"Oh crayo, your to much, but really who are you? Are you my son's boyfriend?"
Crayo turned his head, to smirk.
Sapporo eyed him.
"Well...... Am I?"
Crayo nodded.
Her eyes darted Between them.
"I am Sapporo napituro, the superintendent of crayos school distract and his boyfriend mrs. Hero."
Her eyes widen.
"Oh..... How old are you then? You do know my son here is only 18 years old."
Crayo turned his head to eye her.
"Almost 19."
"Not for 5 more months."
Sapporo nodded.
"Yes, I know this. I am only 23, youngest superintendent to ever be granted this position, I worked very hard to achieve this. I'll be 24 in 2 months."
Crayo made a face.
I'm such a bad boyfriend, should have known that.
She nodded.
"Wow, very impressive, well, I'm miss, polinta, I took my last name after the  divorce. I do not know if crayo told this to you or not but, his father was not....... Supportive of my sons, life style, he gave me a choice, try to fix him or he would leave. You know what I said?"
Crayo smiled to place his hand to hers to hold.
They looked to the other.
"There is nothing to fix, bye." They said in unison eyeing the other.
Sapporo lips parted to hold onto crayos other hand a bit tighter.
These two..... Really need the other, and I'm here not just meeting his mom, I am trying to get him to move in with me, this.....I can't do it. He needs to stay here, his mom is an incredible remarkable woman.
"I would have said the same miss. Polinta."
She then looked to him to smile sweetly.
"Oh, I would also like to say, congratulations for beating your cancer, your son has been very worried."
Crayo let go of his moms hand to then grab his fork to dig in looking down.
She placed he's into the other to place under her chin, she looked to him.
"I know he has been, it was touch and go, but I beat it, thank you very much, and thank you for being there for my crayo, how long have you two been dating? How did you meet?"
The two looked to the other.
They didn't think of what to tell her, in his house, crayo was a smart alec And manily told her the truth, but at this moment he didn't know what to say.
"Um, Sapporo, I think you should tell her."
He then leaned to go to his ear.
"I have nothing, I also try not to lie, I'm so sorry, I'll make it up to you."
He leaned back to give him a pleading face.
Sapporo shirked to nod, he then looked to her.
"Not very much to tell, I saw him around campus, he looked very tired and sad, I approached him then, one thing lead to another and here we are, also just a couple of months."
She nodded to then move her hands away to then dig in.
Looking between them, Sapporo then dug in.
"Well, I am very happy you two found the other, I have seen crayo coming home a bit more happy and merry, I think that is due to having you. Now crayo, what did you do to receive such a handsome, over achieved, nice, polite man, mmmm, I know, this is your karma for helping your poor mother you are getting everything coming to you in a very positive way. I believe you sapporo, is the universe giving back to my boy here."
Sapporo and crayo both looked to her, to then look to the other to smile.
"I believe that has well, miss polinta."
"Oh, if you don't mind, you can call me mom or tinta. The way you two are being, I can tell something wonderful is happening between the two of you. I can see the love."
Crayos cheeks warmed up a bit, Sapporo eyed him.
"I very much do love your son tinta."
Crayo turned his head to eye, he's heart was soaring, even though he didn't want to leave his mother, crayo was now waiting for Sapporo to ask for him to move in, but we far he was not saying one word.
Eyeing him after a few silent minutes he then turned his head to look to his mom.
"Mom? Sapporo would also like to ask of you......"
Feeling Sapporo hold his hand tighter, he turned his head, to eye.
Sapporo shook his head to go to his ear.
"Not anymore, I'll explain why."
He then leaned back to eye, then he signed, crayo was looking to him with narrowed eyes.
"I thought you were going to."
"Crayo...... Please..... Not right now."
Crayo withdrew his hand to then, move himself from the table to then go to his room.
His mother eyed to then turn her head to look to sapporo, questions burned in her eyes.
"What is going on?"
Sapporo took a deep breathe, he remembered crayo told him, he was always truthful to his mother.
He leaned forward to move his plate a bit, to then cup his hands to eye her, very respectfully and professionally.
"Tinta, I was hoping, if I made a very good impression, I was going to ask you, if it would be okay, if you're son moved in with me, however after that one story, you two mean the world to the other, in which it should be, I do not have this relationship with my parents, I.... Come from a broken home, thus it helped me to gain the status I have today by such a thing age. Your son knows all about and...."
Tinta signed to nod.
"I give you my permission to have my boy move in with you, listen Sapporo, my son has given up so much just to take care of me, I also have heard he worked has an escort just to pay my medical bills, you have no idea, how this makes me feel, I feel I have failed him has a mother, so I would like you to take care of him from now on, however, I do want to see you two every Sunday for a dinner. Sapporo, my son needs to live his life, he deserves nothing but the best, I believe that is what you are, the best for my son. So please, go to him, tell my crayo you two are moving in with the other."
Sapporo nodded to smile, getting up he went to her to place his hand to her shoulder, she looked up at him, with a smile, happy tears were flowing down.
"Do not worry, I will take care of him the way he deserves, I love him with all my heart, thank you..... Mom."
Tinta nodded to watch him go.
I hope for your two happiness, you two really deserve the other. I am so proud of you my son, everything that is coming your way you deserve.
She then wiped her tears to then eat.
Sapporo went to crayos room to knock to the door.
"Go away...."
Sapporo lightly chuckled.
"Really, your going to act like this? And here i thought I'd help you pack so then you can move in with me."
Hearing stomping, crayo ran to his door to open to eye sapporo.
"Did you..... Ask her?"
"That I did. She said yes. So....."
Crayo went to sapporo to wrap his arms around to hug him tight.
"You are going to have a lot of fun with me Sapporo. Hope you can deal with all of me."
Sapporo hugged him back tight.
"That I can my love, come on let's get packing, I want you to move in now."
They parted to look to the other, crayo grabbed his hand to lead him in.
"I want that too."
They both went in to start packing his things, unaware the arguments they were going to have, but they would be filled with love.
