A/N: He looked cute so I decided to roll for him. And now, Xiao fights him everyday. Heh.

Xiao gave an angry huff as he saw Childe walking towards us.

"I have decided to join you." Childe began.

"What?!" Hissed Xiao, glaring at him, his hand tightening around mine.

"I'll probably still be one of the Fatui harbingers but I promise to provide you all the intel." Replied Childe.

"Why are you suddenly helping me?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"I want to venture out and conqueor the world." Replied Childe, "plus you could use some friends along your journey." He replied.

"What do I have to do in return?" I asked.

"Nothing! Plus I'll help you find your brother." Replied Childe.

"Who Told You about Aether?!" I growled, suddenly reaching for Dawnbreaker.

"Zhongli Xian sheng." Replied Childe, putting his hands up in defence.

I breathed and drove the sword deep into the grass.

"Aether, I almost forgot, I still haven't found him." I replied with a sigh.

"We'll help you look for him." Replied Xiao, gently touching my back.

"I'll help you too! There will definetly be strong enemies along the way! I can help fight." Replied Childe.

"Fine, you can join us." I decided.

"Great, when do we leave?" He asked.

"Tomorrow." I replied.

"Wait are you sure Y/N?" Asked Xiao, glancing at me.

"He'll be good as long as you keep him in check." I whispered to Xiao.

"Alright," replied Xiao, he then glared at Childe, "you can join us but don't you dare hurt her again or you will feel my wrath!"

"Alright." Replied Childe, chuckling at us.

"Paimon hopes he doesn't do anything suspcious." Replied Paimon.

We then walked towards Monstadt.
