While enjoying the windtrace event, there were still comissions going on.

Jean had sent us a message bird and asked for our help on something.

We finished eating our breakfast and jumped out of the teapot.

We earned a few stares from the Monstadt neighbors after we jumped out of the teapot.

But nevertheless, they didn't question us and went on with their day. In fact some talked amonst themselves, wishing that they too had a traveling house like us.

"Its no surprise, it's just a moving house," explained Paimon.

"Moving house? If you had this treasure back in the day, the Lawrence family will steal it from you no doubt!" Replied a passerby.

"Who are the Lawrence family?" Asked Paimon, curious.

"A terrible family of aristrocrats, who see everyonelss who are not in their family a slave." Explained the passerby.

"If you met someone from that family don't be friends with them!" Added a lady.

"All they know is to take control and rule with tyranny over Monstadt." Replied a knight.

"At least your nation didn't suffer from demons, " replied Xiao, crossing his arms.

"Being plagued by tyrants is equally bad as demons." Replied Venti, who appeared behind us.

Xiao didn't reply after that.

Later at the Knights Of Favonius HQ

Jean paced around her room.

When she saw Xiao and me enter, she gave a sigh.

"Hello Honuary Knight Y/N and Master Xiao, thank you for being here." Began Jean.

"What do you need help with?" I asked.

We were all curious about why she wanted to meet us.

"Well, you know about the Lawrence family?" Asked Jean.

"Heard some people talk about them after they saw the teapot." Replied Paimon.

"Well, see Monstadt had 3 Noble families, they were the Ragnvindyr, Gunhildr, and Lawence family. Diluc is from the Ragnvindyr family, I am from the Gunhildr family." Explained Jean.

"Then should we call you Lady Jean?" Asked Paimon, curious.

"I just prefer Jean, I do not want to be called in such high noble way, however if I was from the Lawrence family, probably yes." Chuckled Jean.

"So the Lawrence family had the highest nobility?" I asked.

"Indeed, they were so powerful for a period of time that they took over Monstadt, where the aristrocrats took over and enslaved the people." Explained Jean.

"What did they do to abolish the tyranny?" I asked.

"Well, that was where my family and Diluc's came in, well actually, even before that," realized Jean, "Vanessa, the first Lionfang Knight of Favonius rallied the rebels and successfully defeated the artistocrats." Replied Jean.

"Such honuary and bravery." I noted.

"Indeed." Nodded Jean.

"From then on, Monstadt became the City of Freedom we know today." Concluded Jean, looking at the Monstadt Knights of Favonius crest.

"So why are we here again?" Asked Paimon, scratching her little hair.

"Oh yes! Sorry got caught up explaining the long history!" Apoligized Jean.

"At least we learned something new about Monstadt." I replied with a shrug.

"Yes, I called you two here because we suspect a member of the Lawrence family have allied with some members of the Fatui." Replied Jean, serious.

"The Fatui?! Again?!" Complained Paimon.

"The Fatui are like demons." Growled Xiao, forming fists.

"I know, and I was wondering if you two could investigate and perhaps stop their plans." Replied Jean.

"How do we do that?" I asked.

"Well, we have some leads on this man named Schubert, whose a member of the Lawrence family." Replied Jean.

"You aren't going to talk to Schubert?" Asked Paimon.

"No, they will just rudely brush us off or ignore us." Sighed Jean, she continued, "we've been trying to work things out between us knights and the Lawrence fanily, so that both sides can come to an agreement, but so far it only becomes fuel to the fire." Sighed Jean.

"I'm sorry to hear that, I would love to help." I replied.

"Thats great to hear, Y/N. You are the perfect candidate for speaking with him! He won't recognize you probably." Replied Jean.

"I hope this works." I replied.

"Good luck." Nodded Jean as we walked out of the Knights HQ.

We found Schubert walking near the walls of the city gate.

"Hello, mister, you must be Schubert." I began.

Schubert stared at us, and then his stare slowly turned into a glare.

"I am Schubert from the Lawrence family, you are to address me by proper etiquette and title!" He ordered.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

Xiao who was behind me was confused as well.

"Such improper etiquette. Terrible manners! If you wish to speak words to me you must ask for permission!" Replied Schubert with a glare.

Xiao's confused stare turned to a glare as well, he was dangerously close to taking out his poleam.

"Ok so may I speak with you?" I began.

"No! Not like that, since you were so ill-mannered in greeting me and addressing me, you shall recieve punishment!" Replied Schubert.

"What punishment?" Asked Xiao, narrowing his golden-amber eyes.

"You should kneel before me, apolozie and ask for forgiveness." Explained Schubert.

"And if I don't?" I asked.

"Then you have no respect for the Lawrence family! A once prospering and powerful family that ruled over Monstadt!" Replied Schubert, now angry.

"The aristocracts are useless." Growled Xiao.

"Since you two have no respect for the Lawrence family or I, Schubert Lawence, then I do not wish to speak with you!" Grumbled Schubert as he left.

"Sheesh! This guy sure has a temper!" Muttered Paimon.

"I heard that! You scoundrel for a fairy!" Replied Schubert from not far.

"Let's go find Jean and tell her what happened." I replied with a sigh.
