Traces of Abyss Herald

At the Temple of Falcon

We have arrived to the temple of Falcon.

"The temple of falcon is but naught just a decoration of the gods." Muttered Dainsleif, glaring at the temple.

"He really has quite an opinion on the gods." Muttered Paimon.

"Everyone has different opinions." I replied with a shrug.

"In Liyue we have so many temples, some for Adepti, other for archons." Replied Xiao.

"Ridiculous." Replied Dainsleif.

"It is agreeable." Replied Xiao with a sigh.

We then followed a trial to find hilichurls dancing around the burning stakes with purple letters.

After defeating the hilichurls, we walked up to take a closer look.

"What do these words mean?" I asked, walking closer to try to read them.

Dainsleif was already ahead of us and was readung the strange floating purple words.

"To the Abyss." He reads.

"Huh?" Asked Xiao, taking a closer look too.

"Paimon thinks it must be the language the Abyss use." Comments Paimon.

"I see." Replied Xiao.

A pyro mage suddenly appeared.

Xiao had already took out his weapon before me and was spearing it down.

"Ahhhh!" Yelled the Abyss mage as it shrieked in shock from Xiao's sudden attack.

Dainsleif coldly glared at the Abyss mage.

"Where is your master?!" Snarled Xiao as he grabbed the abyss mage by the scruff.

"I do not know!" Shrieked the abyss mage.

A strange aura formed in Dainsleif's hands as he levitated the abyss mage into the air.

Xiao then angrily speared the abyss mage and sent its dead body into ashes.

"Never mess with Xiao or Dainsleif." Whispered Paimon.

Border between Liyue and Monstadt

"Why are the hiluchurls and abyss mages gouging out the eyes of ruin guards?" I asked, confused.

The hilichurls and abyss mages were digging around deactivated ruin guards

"Strange indeed." Replied Xiao.

"The abyss order are looking for the first field tiller." Realized Dainsleif, explaining, "the first field tiller was built to destroy someone or something."

"First ruin guard?" I asked.

"It was more powerful than the ruin graders, ruin guards and ruin hunters you normally see." Explained Dainsleif.

"Sounds dangerous." Commented Paimon.

"We should search for it before they do." I replied.

"Good idea." Nodded Xiao.

"Then in that case, we shall search for it together." Replied Dainsleif.

We defeated the hilichurls and abyss mages.

"I doubt they would be here." Began Paimon.

"We should search just in case." I replied as we looked around the deactivated ruin guards.

"What are you searching for?" Asked a voice behind us.

Xiao gave an annoyed growl at the sight of Childe approaching us.

"First field tiller." I replies as I gouged out the Ruin guard's eye.

"Interesting," replied Childe after Paimon explained to him, but not before Xiao gave him  a glare.

"You have quite a lot of conpanions, Y/N." Noticed Dainsleif as he glanced at me.

"Yeah," I replied with a chuckle.

"None here, we should probably head to Monstadt for more clues." Replied Xiao.

Dainsleif had once again went ahead of us.

"Hurry up fatui boy!" Yelled Xiao as we headed towards the teleport wavepoint.

"I'll catch up! Going to Dragonspine to get you some intel." Winked Childe as he headed towards the other directionz

"Fine." I replied with a shrug.

In Monstadt

We continued to search for clues in the woods.

Dainsleif found us there and then we saw the strange letters hovering in the air again.
