A/N: 11K this chapter! More group interactions with others and Seungmin's birthday!

Me: I need to wrap up now that I have a plan until the end

Also me: Damn, what if we add this and this and try to shove so many of the ideas which I still have into one chapter?

Also fun fact, after I finished editing the cockroaches part, I went to cook and...I had to kill one.

Listen. One group was chaos. Two groups were a battle (usually a dance one which neither party wanted to lose). Three groups were a war and more than three was unimaginable. It was however reality. They were preparing for a JYPE event and all of the current division groups, some trainees and a whole bunch of important backup dancers and staff were secluded in a castle (it wasn't even a villa since so many rooms were needed) which used to be a dance school so it was perfect. No cameras except their own were allowed so they could focus on getting the nitty gritty down to perfection because their boss demanded nothing less and expected only the best.

Frankly, they could withstand all this blood and sweat if it meant some privacy especially since they would come back again with another banger.

From Chan's frown they could deduce he was missing GOT7, especially BamBam but he still got to see him and while bittersweet he was smiling every so often, especially when seeing the trainees, the newer generation.

They were in between schedules but they still recorded some videos themselves as practice and then they continued practicing and practicing until exhaustion or until their managers pulled them aside for food and on one occasion, a medical check-up. Them and ITZY also had shows at the same time after these preparatory days they were spending here for the event so suffice to say that their practice rooms were always lit up regardless of whether it was day or night. There was always someone of them practicing or working.

Hyunjin's feet hurt from all the chaotically contained footwork. He loved the fact they shined individually in the domino choreo but his hamstrings were not appreciating the movements as much as he was. He could just imagine the others and how much more they were silently hurting. Well Hannie and Innie weren't exactly silent about it but they were probably hurting more than they voiced, especially Jisung who everyone was codling for a reason after his accident.

Which isn't to say that Hyunjin will forgive him if he scares him one more time. Currently he was clutching his heart with one hand while fumbling with his sketchpad, trying to close it in vain.

"Oh nice. Is that Seungmin's gift?"

"It won't be if you scare me again. What if I had ruined it?" he whined.

"Watercolour washes away right? It's why it's called like that" Hyunjin stared at him really hard until Han started shuffling on his feet "Or not. Never mind...I'm dumbest. Sorry about that." Once he had apologised, Hyunjin instantly forgave him and voluntarily showed him the piece. Jisung assured him the other would like, no love it and appeased, Hyunjin hummed and concluded the finishing touches.

He took a photo then and sent it to Chan and to Ms. Kim for feedback and then they all had to keep on practicing. Hyunjin had sacrificed his break but so had most of the others and unlike Hyunjin they were actually working.

"Hey" Seungmin's hoarse voice said and Hyunjin instantly went for the honey packets which Seungmin gratefully used trying to sooth his throat. The thankful peck was decidedly sweet.
