I had day before the ball jitters. I was not going to show up to the last dance of the year single, like every other dance. As I watched people ask each other to go to the dance together, I just felt like rolling my eyes. The only person I would go with was not interested, and no random person would go with me. I put my hair into a ponytail and added on some lip gloss. I don't know what I was hoping for, but clearly it worked, though not in the right way.
I walked into the hall and saw Ace. He looked at me for an extra second before walking away. I scoffed. So now he looks at me because I look pretty today. What a jerk. I walked past Daffy and Cara but before I passed them I nudged Cara. "Hey, I know you like Ace, watch out for him." Cara gave me a weird look. "How would she know?" Asked Cara. "Eh, she kissed him at the party." Said Daffy. "SHE WHAT!!" Shrieked Cara. Hydra's stomach sank.
Her closest friends were Yuna, and her popular group, although she didn't really fit in with them. If she was being honest, she didn't have very many close friends. Or any at all for that matter. But from now on Cara probably wasn't on friendly terms with her.
