[30] COLD HUSBAND BEING DISTANT TOWARDS END OF PREGNANCY - MAY 3 2023

Jungkook and Jimin are in an arranged marriage. Jungkook kept to himself in general. He has never been comfortable expressing himself to others but Jimin brought out the best in him. He started being caring, even if he didn't share too much of his life like Jimin did. Jungkook and Jimin slowly understood each other, cared for the other and eventually fell in love that lead them to consummate their relationship after nearly 1 year of marriage.

Jimin found himself pregnant after 3 months of being sexually intimate with his husband.

Jimin had come home a bit earlier as he wasn't feeling well that day. The boy had bought pregnancy kits ever since their first time of being intimate,just in case. They never used protection as they had decided to wait to be intimate till they were mentally and financially ready to be parents. They weren't actively trying to get pregnant though.

Jungkook had come home after his long day at work. He knew Jimin was home, seeing the keys and shoes by the door. He looked for his tiny husband in the living room and kitchen but seeing noone he understood that Jimin might be in their room. He walked into the bedroom to be met with noone. He decided to wait patiently for the boy to exit the washroom, the place he expected the boy to be at. But after waiting for 5 minutes and not really hearing any noises from the washroom, Jungkook decides to knock on the door but just as he was about to, Jimin exits with something in his hands

"Oh God... Jungkook! You scared me!" Jimin says nervously as he tries to hide the item in his hand

"I'm sorry I didn't..." that's when Jungkook's mind finally registers what he had seen in Jimin's hand "...was that a pregnancy test?"

Jimin is nervous "...I...."

"I-Is it? A-are you?" Jungkook asks, his voice slightly wavering and Jimin doesn't know if its a good thing or not

".... it's okay... whatever it may be... I am with you..." Jungkook says thinking that the result was negative

Jimin sighs as he closes his eyes and shows Jungkook the test

He slowly opens his eyes when he hears no response. Jimin sees the man looking at the test intently.

"J-Jungkook?" Jimin calls out and the man comes out of his daze

"I'm going to a father?" Is the first thing he asks

Jimin nods hesitantly, still unsure of what to make of it but when he sees tears pooling in the cold man's eyes followed by a wide grin, Jimin is sure he has nothing to worry about

"Thank you sweetheart" Jungkook gently hugs the boy, as if afraid to hurt the tiny bean inside Jimin "...you know I have been wanting to start a family with you since 6 months into our marriage... you can't imagine how happy I am..." Jungkook pulls away to see tears dropping down Jimin's cheeks "...Y-you are happy too right? You want this, right?"

Jimin nods, chuckling "...yes...yes..."

Jungkook sighs, a happy relief before he delicately lifts the boy into his arms and carries him to the bed

"Are you okay? Are you dizzy or nauseated? Is anywhere hurting? Do you want to go to the doctors to confirm how far along you are?" Jungkook questioning him without a pause makes Jimin burst out into giggles

"Beautiful..." Jungkook whispers admiring the tiny boy and Jimin blushes hearing that

"I love you so much Jimin" Jungkook says cupping the boy's face

"I love you too" Jimin says before burying his face, shyly into Jungkook's chest. The man couldn't help but laugh

Yup, they were happy
