A/N: sequel to marrying my ex whom I hate [102]

The alpha's mom was shocked when she heard about Jimin from her son. He had called her from Seoul and had been crying on the call, blaming himself for giving the omega a hard time. She was upset. She had no idea that Jimin was her son's ex. She had seen how the breakup affected Jungkook and was glad that the marriage was a positive change to his sadness (she doesn't know that Jungkook was cold to Jimin but she could hear a longing in his voice whenever she called to check up on them) but now again things were taking a turn and she didn't know what to make of it. She sighs remembering what Jimin had told her before

"You are so good with kids and you make amazing food too..." Mrs Jeon compliments the omega, making him smile. It was a BangTan kids party for children's day at the school. "...I can't believe you don't have an alpha.." Jimin's smile fades. She notices it "...uhm..I'm sorry for being so intrusive but.... I really like you for my son..."

Jimin shakes his head "It's okay. I... I had an alpha whom I betrayed..." Mrs Jeon looked shocked at him. Jimin didn't look like someone who would betray his alpha or anyone for that matter. Jimin had tears in his eyes, hiccuping at times "...I loved him... I still love him... but I hurt him so badly... he must hate me now....I betrayed his love..."

"Why?" Was the only thing she could ask

"...he is the best alpha in the world... he deserves someone without flaws... I will only pull him down into my mess and I can never do that to him .." Jimin blinks away his tears as he looks at the sky "...I have systemic lupus... and even had to have kidney transplant as my both kidneys failed...I even lost our baby and I might never be able to have kids of my own and I can't knowingly deprive him of fatherhood... I know he will be the best dad for his kids..I want him happy and I know he deserves more than I can offer him..."

Mrs Jeon goes home that night and thinks about what Jimin said. She thought about if Jimin would be good for her son and she decided the omega definitely was. The omega did things for the sake of his alpha's happiness. Jimin sacrificed his love and Mrs Jeon found that endearing. She knew Jimin for over 2 years now, she knew his heart - his innocent sweet heart. His past didn't matter to her.

So what if Jimin had a health issue or was pregnant before? Jungkook needs someone like him to make him believe in love again. Jimin is also hurting, maybe they can help together. I'm sure Jimin will make him happy again.

When Jungkook had said okay to the marriage, she immediately talked to Jimin who first said no. She showed him Jungkook's picture and Jimin looked shocked. Jimin kept asking if Jungkook really said okay. Jimin told her to let them meet but she told him that Jungkook wanted to get married without any meeting. That's when Jimin begs her to tell his story, his side and if Jungkook is still okay with it then the omega would gladly marry him

She is upset that Jungkook is crying again but she knows it's for the best. She is glad that they can now properly heal together.

"Systemic lupus is life long but of course it is manageable. You have nothing to worry about. You shouldn't worry because stress is what mostly triggers it. So just try to be happy all the time and take your medications. Follow a good diet and exercise. Believe me you are good to go" the doctor assures Jimin and Jungkook

They both thank the doctor and get back home

After they had freshened up and caught up on all the past miseries and after another good cry in each other's arms, Jungkook speaks

"...Jiminah... I know I shouldn't ask this but please...don't go to work anymore... I don't want you to stress about anything..." Jungkook says drawing soft circles on the omega's back as they lay cuddled on the bed

"But the kids make me happy" the omega pouts

The alpha pulls away from Jimin to see his face before he slightly smirks

"How about I make you carry my pup in here?" Jungkook pats the omega's tummy

Jimin blushes but then his expression dulls down

"Why... Why are you upset... I'm sorry...I" Jungkook curses himself. What if Jimin is reminded of their pup

The omega shakes his head "I am scared" Jimin let's down his tears

The kiss was so soft and loving that Jimin gasped into Jungkook's mouth, clutching on the alpha's shirt as the kiss intensified. Jungkook pulls away to read Jimin's expression, their faces so close, the tension between them increasing

"I love you so much my omega..." Jungkook says leaning in slowly

"I'm going to stop working for a couple of months ..is that okay?" Jimin asks making Jungkook confused

"Of course! Why is that even a question? You should stop working completely...are you overstressed at work? Is that why you fainted? Are the pups at school giving you a hard time?"

Jimin couldn't help but giggle at Jungkook's concerned face

"No... I just want to focus on one pup for now... that's why..." Jimin says shyly

"One pup?" Jungkook frowns

"One pup..." Jimin says taking Jungkook's hand and placing on his tummy
