Jungkook and Jimin are like Tom and Jerry in school. They just couldn't stand the other. They were both in the same class, their mothers were great friends. Jungkook didn't like how his mom would compliment and praise Jimin, even when Jimin wasn't in the room. Jungkook would often tease the boy in school for being a perfectionist. Jimin's mom would compliment Jungkook's sportsman spirit which Jimin was weak at. Jimin didn't like that. And just like that their verbal back and forth began - it's been about 2 years.

They were just a few months away from graduation when their families informed them about their marriage. Both families announced it at the family dinner they had at Jeon's residence. Jimin and Jungkook were definitely shocked but everyone noticed how Jungkook had a tiny grin on his face. Jimin just wanted to smack that grin off the man's face.

"I think you guys will be perfect for each other, you both compliment each other so well. Jungkook wants to study photography and business management and you want to pursue art and hotel management- both of those courses are there abroad in Canada. You wanted to go there right? Just think about it okay? Don't just refuse this idea completely..." Mrs Park advises her son "...and the reason why we want the wedding as soon as you graduate is so that you can both move and settle down in Canada together as a married couple..."

Jimin sighs as he thinks about it.

Maybe I should give Jungkook a chance

From the next day in school, Jimin doesn't reply to Jungkook's taunts and teasing as usual. It makes Jungkook feel weird. During the lunch breaks Jimin started giving Jungkook his favorite banana milk and at times even his home cooked meals. Jungkook knew Jimin didn't know the ABC of cooking and he heard the boy had started learning how to cook.

"You didn't poison it right?"

Jimin shakes his head no

Jungkook started seeing Jimin in a different light soon enough. Maybe he was already seeing Jimin that way, without totally understanding his own feelings but now when Jimin is being so caring towards him, Jungkook couldn't help the butterflies in his tummy.

Jungkook started reciprocating. He stopped teasing the boy, started to be protective and considerate of Jimin - picking him up from home to school and back home, taking him out on dates with their friends and then it turning into a solo date between them.

They were happy but none of them openly said it out loud. They just enjoyed the premarital bliss.

Jungkook's heart beats fast as he watches Jimin get out the washroom in a loose pajama shorts set and sit in front of the mirror to dry his hair and do his nighttime routine

Jungkook couldn't help but admire his beautiful husband

Yup, they got married that day

Jimin was so into his routine that he didn't realize that Jungkook had walked up behind him

"May I?" Jungkook asks taking the hair dryer off Jimin's hands

Jimin closes his eyes as Jungkook ruffles Jimin's hair softly as the warm air brushes across his damp hair

"You look beautiful, honey..." Jungkook leans down to whisper into Jimin's ear, the man's lips brushing across Jimin's ear lobule. Jimin couldn't help the shiver that ran down his spine

Jungkook switches off the dryer, and places it on the table before pulling Jimin up and turns him around to face him

"I am so lucky to have such a beautiful person that I can call my husband so proudly... thank you for being mine..." Jungkook says all the while caressing Jimin's face

Jimin smiles

Jungkook reaches down to hold both of Jimin's hands in his own

"I love you Jiminah..." Jungkook says, his eyes reflecting his emotions making Jimin blush "...are you happy being mine?"

"Of course I'm happy .. I love you too..." Jimin then shyly looks away making Jungkook chuckle before cupping Jimin's chin to make him face him

"I can't wait to start our life together..."

Jimin smiles "..me neither..."

Jungkook caresses the boy's lip softly with his thumb, his eyes alternating between Jimin's eyes and lips

"May I?" Jungkook asks already leaning in

"...you may..." Jimin's words are cut off by Jungkook kissing him softly yet with a lot of passion, Jimin kisses him back immediately

"I love you..." Jungkook is nearly breathless as he holds the boy flat against him

"I love you too"
