Jungkook and Jimin were on a blind date arranged by their friends. No, Jungkook wasn't Jimin's blind date nor was Jimin Jungkook's. The two were at the same restaurant seated on the table next to each other.

Jungkook nearly gagged as A/N - his date, boosted about her looks. Jimin's date was narcissistic as well, calling Jimin a trophy boyfriend material and flexing his wealth.

The two (Jungkook and Jimin) happened to chance a glance at each other and something about the emotions behind their gaze, made them both feel happy being there.

A/N kept talking about herself so did Jimin's date. The two people didn't even notice when Jimin and Jungkook were looking at each other occasionally.

Jimin excuses himself to the washroom and Jungkook follows soon after. Both A/N and Jimin's date got busy on their phones as they waited for their dates to return, not knowing that they wouldn't.

"Hey... I saw how miserable you looked back there..." Jungkook says as soon as he sees Jimin in the washroom washing his hands

Jimin giggles "...you didn't look that great either..." Jungkook chuckles "...I hate blind dates!"

"Oh it was a blind date huh? It was mine too..... you talked about the AI evolution earlier... I am passionate about it as well..." Jungkook smiles "...we would have had a lot to talk about..." Jimin smiles back "...oh...by the way I love your RM themed phone case... I have the same as my wallpaper...look..." Jungkook says showing Jimin his screen

Jimin looks at the man to find Jungkook staring back at him before they get interrupted by a customer coming to use the washroom

"I really don't wanna go back out there..." Jimin sighs

"...then... do you wanna make a run for it?"

Jimin's eyes widen and glisten with excitement when Jungkook grabs his hands and makes a run for it. Neither of their dates noticed, they were too into their phones

They chuckle as they run out the restaurant and to the park across it. Jungkook had taken a cab here while Jimin had taken a bus.

"....I don't usually let a stranger hold my hand so tightly..." Jimin says making Jungkook flush as he leaves Jimin's hands

"I'm sorry .."

"Hi Sorry... I'm Jimin"

Jungkook blinks for a second too long before he chuckles

"Oh my God! I love you!"

Jimin blinks - he couldn't deny that he felt a connection with the taller man

Jungkook flushes embarrassed sensing Jimin's stare

"I mean... I am Jungkook..." Jungkook extends his hand out

Jimin giggles as he shakes Jungkook's hand before they both shyly walk down the street, their dates long forgotten

They go hang out in the kids area of the park, swinging on the swings and sliding down the slides. They had so much fun learning about each other and being care free. They weren't trying to impress each other which led to them being impressed about each other.

Jungkook walks Jimin to his apartment and the two continue talking downstairs for a while. Jungkook was reluctant to leave, so was Jimin

"....Would you like to come in and see my cat?" Jimin asks

Jungkook couldnt help the smirk on his face

"Of course! I would love to!"

Jungkook was imagining all the ways he could make Jimin feel good in bed as they entered the apartment, only for his smile to drop when he hears a meow

"So you really meant that you had a cat huh?" Jungkook asks seeing Jimin kiss his cat chimmy

Jimin is confused as he stands up holding his cat "...Yea.... why did you think I actually meant a dog?

Jungkook chuckles as he shakes his head no "...He is cute..." Jungkook says holding the cat

Jimin smiles bright "...he is..." Jimin looks around before heading into the kitchen, Jungkook slowly following ".. are you hungry?..Do you want ramen?"

Jungkook snaps his head at the boy who was already "...Now you are just teasing me right?"

"Huh?.. you don't want ramen?" Jimin then takes a left over cake piece from the fridge and slides his finger down the side of the cake to take the cream "...Then do you want some cake?" Jimin asks licking the cream off his hands

"If you insist..." Jungkook says leaning forward and before Jimin can say anything Jungkook was licking the cream around his lips

Jungkook pulls back and looks at Jimin with his hooded eyes. Chimmy leaped out of his hands

"You want me as much as I want you... right?" Jungkook whispers against Jimin's lips

Jimin stood shocked at the sudden lick

"Y-You don't... its just me?" Jungkook whispers as he steps back realizing what he just did but Jimin stops him

"I want you too"

Jungkook doesn't waste another second and kisses the boy passionately

"I really like you Jimin... will you be my boyfriend?"

"I like you too... and I would love to"

The next day

"Didnt I tell you it would work? Jimin didn't agree to even meet Jungkook earlier and now see they are hiting it off..." Taehyung smiles after Jimin sends him a voice note about how he met Jungkook and Yoongi receives a similar message from Jungkook ".... I knew they were perfect for each other. I have to thank A/N and Y/N for acting obnoxious..."
