Jungkook was known as the badboy of his college. He was cordial only to his 5 hyungs who were his close friends but even to them he kept his answers short or stayed unbothered as he hang out with them everytime.

Jimin soon joined their friend circle, after Taehyung found the new transferee in his batch adorable.

Jungkook didn't care much for the new member to the group - he adored Taehyung and if the man thought the new guy was good enough for their gang, he was okay too. Jimin wasn't as rich as any of them

But 2 months into Jimin constantly being around them, Jungkook changed. The man would often be caught jumping to save Jimin's ass from falling off a chair or just basically helping the shorter boy with anything he would be needing at the time, even sarcastically answering back to anyone who dared ask the boy out. And he did it all without complaining about it, unlike his usual grumbling if his hyungs asked him to do something. His hyungs noticed it and started teasing Jungkook about liking Jimin but the man didn't care and stayed unbothered.

Jimin too noticed it and slowly started day dreaming about the man, it really felt special to be treated in an unique way, Jungkook's actions towards him were reserved for him, the man didn't do the same when it came to anyone else. Mr Park, Jimin's dad had told him that if he didn't find anyone before he graduated college then Mr Park would be finding one for Jimin. Jimin was okay with it, though he wanted a love marriage and so when he felt like Jungkook might reciprocate his feelings, he decides to confess

Jimin had accompanied Jungkook to his home like he sometimes does, Taehyung encouraged the boy to do so. The hyungs were positive that Jungkook like the boy too

Jimin took up all his courage to finally confess after nearly 7 months of knowing the man, all to have the man laugh at his face

"Oh God... I was just being nice to you... you really think I would fall for you?! A nerd?" Jungkook scoffs

Jimin's heart broke - though it was a possibility that Jungkook might not like him, he didn't expect the man to be so rude about it

Needless to say, Jungkook and Jimin avoid each other from that day

Jimin still acknowledged the others but when Jungkook would join them, Jimin would excuse himself and leave, mostly with Taehyung tagging along with him

Jungkook didn't like it one bit. He hated Jimin being away from him and ignoring his presence. He missed the old times,he missed Jimin - so much so he got obsessed with the boy to the point of stalking him.

Summer break soon arrives and Jimin decides to go back to Busan, to his family home to avoid Jungkook.

Jimin's family didn't want him to go alone as there was no one else at their family home but Jimin needed this, he needed time away before he had to see Jungkook again
