[201] JIKOOK ONESHOTS/ PROMPTS - [ ONGOING ]

[135] NOT BELIEVING IN LOVE - MAR 23 2024

Jungkook is the heartthrob of BangTan University. He was multi talented as well as rich, but Jungkook only associated himself with his close group of friends, he didn't entertain anyone else befriending him especially if they were doing so to date him. But still, many pursued him in hopes of being the future Jeon.

Jimin was different though, he was the only one in their class who didn't approach or try to flirt with Jungkook and that made Jungkook like the boy a bit because Jimin didn't have ulterior motives

Jimin was clumsy by nature and by default found himself getting injured often. One day he was about to walk down the stairs when he trips over his loose shoelaces, the incident would have led to him rolling down the flight of stairs and possibly injuring his head and leg but Jungkook who happened to pass by the boy, immediately reached out to pull Jimin into his arms. Jimin was indeed thankful

Ever since then Jimin would smile at Jungkook if their eyes happened to meet across the room and Jungkook would subtly nod as well. It made Jimin feel good and special.

That day, Jimin was holding a box of freshly made cookies and a letter. He kept looking over at Jungkook who was sitting with his friends on the stairs which led to nowhere - basically no one used those stairs. His friends noticed this and joked

"I think even Jimin can't escape the Jeon charm... I bet he is coming over to propose to you..."

Jungkook looks over and sees that indeed Jimin was looking at him nervously and looks away when their eyes meet

"No...he isn't like that..."

Jungkook's friend then goes to Jimin and asks

"You wanna talk to Jungkook?"

Jimin nods

The guy now standing behind Jimin, smirks

"Go to Jungkook..."

Jimin still stands nervously

"Hey guys... come..." the friend gestures his other friends to leave

Jungkook stands up as well but Jimin reaches him

"Please accept this..." Jimin hands over the box nervously but before he could say anything else, Jungkook throws it to the floor making him shocked

"You are just like the others huh? Fck!" Jungkook was away

Jimin stares at the mess with tears in his eyes

Hoseok feeling bad tries to calm Jimin but the boy runs away

Hoseok then sees the box and letter - he is angry - he takes it to Jungkook

"Why are you giving me this?"

"It isn't a confession letter to you..."

Jungkook looks at Hoseok confused and the man gives him the letter

Jimin made the cookies as a thank you for saving his life and the letter was for Namjoon. Namjoon was Jungkook's brother.

Jungkook felt bad for judging Jimin. He also felt upset in the beginning thinking that it was Jimin's letter for his hyung. Jungkook let out a sigh of relief when he realized that it was from Jin, Jimin's cousin brother.

Jungkook apologizes to Jimin the next day

"I forgive you..."

And since that day, Jimin avoid anything to do with Jungkook and the man felt restless

It was always girls behind Jungkook but now it was Jungkook behind Jimin and he didn't know how to do it. All Jungkook knows is that he wanted Jimin's attention, he wanted Jimin to be free and comfortable with him

Seeing Jungkook's efforts to make him feel safe, Jimin agrees to be Jungkook's friend. Jungkook was happy- it meant he got to spend more time with the boy

In the beginning they hang out with their friends group but then they started hanging out alone in arcades and then going to a fast food chain to grab food. It was sort of a date but none of them would accept that. Jungkook believed Jimin liked him as a friend, same did Jimin especially because Jungkook had told him that he didn't believe in love - he just couldn't understand it. He said that after Jimin told the man he loved him. This didn't stop their friendship though, in fact Jungkook started hanging around Jimin even more - taking care of the boy when he is sick or doing his projects into the night.

Jungkook didn't care about his own safety one day when he leapt into oncoming traffic when Jimin was being absent minded to protect him. Jungkook scolded him a lot after hugging him and making sure Jimin was okay

Jungkook takes Jimin home

Jimin is always thankful but he can't take it anymore- his heart is bursting with love for this man who doesn't want love, especially when Jungkook is being the perfect boyfriend towards him - making Jimin be cozy on the sofa, covering him with a blanket, making him hot chocolate

Jimin had tears in his eyes. He has to stop this friendship which was clearly not just friendship anymore

"....why are you doing this..... are you pitying me now .... you said you don't believe in love and don't want a relationship..."

Jungkook is quiet for a minute before he slowly caresses Jimin's face, wiping Jimin's falling tears

"You really wanna know?"

"Yes"

Jungkook kisses him and though Jimin was initially shocked, the boy kisses him back

Jungkook pushes his body weight forward making Jimin sink into the sofa behind him

Jungkook pulls away when he feels Jimin needing air

Jungkook smiles slightly before laying on the side of the sofa, hugging the tiny boy into his arms

"I love you..." Jimin's heart picks up face as he stares into Jungkook's chest "...I'm sorry it took a while for me to understand what love is ... it's something I never thought I would end up feeling..." Jungkook pulls away to cup the boy's face making Jimin look at him "....this beautiful feeling.... Thank you for coming into my life and making me experience this happiness.... I love you"

Jimin smiles "I love you too"

"Be my boyfriend Park Jimin"

Jimin blushes "...O-Okay..."

Jungkook chuckles as he caresses Jimin's cheek "Love you"

Jungkook noses along Jimin's cheek

"Love you more"
