[68]LAB LOVE - AUG 5 2023

"Do I have to go...mom can handle it, right?" Jungkook pouts on the phone

"Of course she can... but still it's better if you are there... initially I was supposed to go but you know Jinnie is pregnant and I can't be away from him for so long..... you can just drive up there for the weekend and drive back...please... it's for our dad, after all..." Namjoon, Jungkook's older brother says making the man sigh

"Of course hyung.. I'm sorry if it sounded like I didn't care for dad... I had plans this weekend and it's just a blood test so I thought mom can handle it... nothing is more important to me than family... you can count on me..."

Jungkook is in a training internship program in Seoul and Mr Jeon wanted to do a blood test and Namjoon had already booked for a home service one. Unfortunately he couldn't make it and wanted his younger brother to go instead.

"Sorry ma'am... I think I got lost... I am near the BangTan park - the route map you send me took me here..." the lab technician says on the phone

"Ahh just a moment, I'm not really good with directions... let me give the phone to my son..." Mrs Jeon says handing the phone to Jungkook, who was pissed that the lab technician was late. He wanted to go meet his friends after the blood test

"Yes?" Jungkook says almost rudely but gulps when he hears the voice that melted away all his frustration

"Hello sir...I'm so sorry about the inconvenience... I think I got lost... I..."

"Where are you right now?" Jungkook says calmly this time

Jungkook then slowly guides the lab technician in the right direction

Jungkook's eyes nearly popped out of his eye sockets when he saw the boy remove his helmet after he parked his bike.

The boy was ethereal, so mesmerizing, so beautiful - Jungkook was amazed he didn't melt like butter right there.

"Hello ma'am, sir... again I apologize for the delay..."

"It's okay..." Jungkook is quick to say

The boy then starts doing the things he needs to so for Mr Jeon while Mrs Jeon and Jungkook just watched

Mrs Jeon started making small conversations while the boy answered. Jungkook sat there listening to them

"It's only been a few days since I started working here... that's why I don't know the area much..." the boy was still embarrassed

Soon

"I will come and collect the results..." Jungkook says as he walks the boy out

"There is no need for that, sir... I will be emailing you the results..." Jungkook interrupts the boy

"Jungkook..."

"Huh?" The boy is confused

"My name is Jungkook.. don't call me sir..." Jungkook says with an intense gaze making the boy blush a little

"Okay...J-Jungkook... but I..."

"I will come and that's final... it's always good to have a hard copy in hand..."

"Okay as you wish..."

"Drive safely and see you soon, Jimin.." the man says biding the tiny boy goodbye

Soon, Jungkook started calling Jimin for his relatives and friends and the man would be there every time

Jimin understood the taller man was interested in him and so was he

"I'm sorry I can't come tomorrow... my bike isn't working and is at the repair shop..." Jimin apologizes over the phone

"I will pick you up tomorrow then..." Jungkook says cutting the call

This went on for a while, Jungkook calling Jimin up for blood collection for practically everyone he knew

Jungkook would at times pick Jimin up and drop him off at the lab, if Jimin stated that he didn't know the location well

"If you can pick me up and drop me off... why don't you just bring your friends here directly..." Jimin couldn't help but ask as he got off Jungkook's bike

"....well, I can spend more time with you this way..." Jungkook states making Jimin blush slightly

"Do you like me or something?" Jimin dares to ask

"Why ....is it a bad thing if I did?" Jungkook questions back making Jimin smile as he shook his head

Jungkook smiles watching the boy get back into the lab

Jungkook was confident that Jimin liked him back

A week later, this time Jungkook calls Jimin to his apartment for the blood test

"I will pick you up..."

"If it's for you... why don't you just come to the lab?" Jimin asks on the call

"Trust me... just dress casual and I will pick you up after work..."

Jimin sighs - sometimes he just couldn't understand the man

But he couldn't help but smile thinking that he was going to spend time with the man he liked. Jungkook has always been sweet and funny. He enjoyed his time with the man in whatever time he got

"You look gorgeous..." Jungkook states as soon as Jimin got off work. Jungkook was resting against the seat of his bike - which looked really sexy to the boy

Jimin blushes slightly

"Come on, hop on..." Jungkook says patting the seat behind him as he got on it

"Don't you wanna do the test?" Jimin is confused

Jungkook shakes his head "I want to take you somewhere..."

"I brought my bike.." Jimin says pointing at his bike

"Just leave it here...we'll take it later...Trust me... I have a surprise to show you..."

Jungkook takes Jimin on a long drive. Jimin wrapped his arms around the man's waist as Jungkook picked up speed. Jimin enjoyed the feeling, so did Jungkook

"BangTan Beach?" Jimin is surprised and happy to be here. He gets off the bike and looks around "...I have heard of this place a lot... I always wanted to come here..."

"I know... I remember..." Jungkook smiles at the tiny boy

They stare at each other for a moment before Jungkook gets off the bike and drags Jimin to the beach

"Come on, it's the weekend tomorrow... let's enjoy this moment..."

Jimin sighs as they sits down next to the man on the beach. They had quite a fun time walking along the beach and splashing water on each other

"Thank you for taking me here... this view is amazing.. the sunset is so pretty..."

Jungkook smiles at the boy and when Jimin turns sideways to look at him, he knows this moment was perfect

"I love you... I think you already knew that... would you allow me to date you?"

"I thought you would never ask...." Jimin chuckles slightly "....and if it wasn't obvious... I love you too"

Jimin giggles before leaning forward to rest his head against the man's shoulders as they sat close watching the waves

Jungkook couldn't help but wrap his arm around the boy's shoulder before leaning in to place a kiss against the boy's head

"I love you"

Jimin closes his eyes at that

"I love you too"
