"Mom you know I don't want to marry anyone... please stop asking me this. I am already frustrated with work..." Jungkook sighs as he rests his head on the couch. He had just come home for the weekend. He worked in Seoul.

"I promise you will like him... I have seen him and known him since about 2 years now... he is the perfect omega for you... he is a kindergarten teacher at BangTan kids... he was Lisa's teacher and now he is Jisoo's ... they love him.."

Jisoo and Lisa are his nieces.

"Just because they like their teacher doesn't automatically make him the perfect omega for me... mom... please I don't believe in love anymore... that shit brings nothing but pain..." the alpha is totally against this

Mrs Jeon has tears in her eyes seeing her son like this. She knows her son is hurt from his ex, she doesn't know who it was or what they exactly did to the alpha

"I understand honey but it's been 5 years now...just at least meet him once..." she searches through her phone "...this is him with Jisoo...see..."

Jungkook reluctantly looks at the phone shoved onto his face, his eyes darkening as he stares at the picture

"Beautiful isn't he?" Mrs Jeon smiles "...his name is..."

"Park Jimin" Jungkook growls low

Jungkook and Jimin had met at a college basketball game. The omega wasn't part of that college. He had accompanied his friends. The alpha was the star player there and he also happened to be friends with Jimin's best friend's boyfriend. Ever since that meet, they both didn't stop talking. Jungkook had gotten Jimin's number from his friend. Within a few months, they were dating each other.

Everything was going well between the two. They were happy together and so much in love, that was till the alpha gets called for his mandatory military service.

Jimin and Jungkook, they reluctantly tearfully part with the promise of getting married once the alpha returns, but Jimin breaks that promise 3 months after Jungkook starts his service, that too, over the phone. Jungkook was distraught. Jimin's words often haunted him till today

"I don't want to continue living like this.... we need to break up... I feel so lonely...I want someone who is with me right now..." and with that the omega cuts the call and cancels his number so that Jungkook would never be able to contact him

Jungkook was sad, hurt and angry. Even more angry when his fellow comrade showed him a picture of Jimin after nearly 2 years of their breakup. The picture was of his comrade's sister's wedding anniverary party. Jimin happened to be at a corner with a baby and A/N, Jungkook's rival.

How could you do this to me?! Wasn't our love strong? Didn't you love me?

Jungkook tried to look for Jimin after he was discharged from the military but even Taehyung had no idea where Jimin went. Jimin didn't inform anyone as he didn't want Jungkook to ever know about him. Jungkook stopped searching after a year.

Mrs Jeon knows Jungkook agreed to marry Jimin after seeing the picture. The alpha didn't want to talk and wanted direct marriage.

Mrs Jeon was happy but he had to tell Jimin's truth to her son before the marriage and she told him everything Jimin had told her before when she was asking him to marry her son. She still doesn't know Jimin is the ex
