A/N: please note that none of my stories make sense.

Jimin finally let's down the tears he has been holding since an hour. He had just gotten home after breaking up with his boyfriend of 2 years. Jungkook was the one who broke up with Jimin. Jimin had no idea that something like this was even going on in Jungkook's mind.

"I'm a man who goes for what I like... and I really like you Jimin..." Jimin still remembers those words from the man when Jungkook first started pursuing him

**

Jungkook is the CEO of Jeon industries. Jimin was an employee there. Jungkook was the one who pursued Jimin even when the boy had rejected him because of their difference in status, but Jungkook's constant presence and care in his life, even though the man wasn't so expressive or romantic made Jimin fall for him and finally accept to be a couple.

Being an orphan since when he was 10 years old, no one wanted him but Jungkook did, even after knowing Jimin had no family. Tired of being alone, Jimin finally agrees to date Jungkook

**

They seemed to be the perfect couple that was till Jungkook blamed Jimin for being with him for materialistic reasons. Jungkook didn't call him a gold digger but being called materialistic and that being the reason for their break up was enough for Jimin to know that the trust between them was gone. Jimin can't completely blame Jungkook for accusing him but just knowing that the one you loved saw you in a negative light, hurt

**

Jimin, in the initial months of their dating, didn't allow Jungkook to buy him expensive gifts and remained independently working even when Jungkook said he would provide for them - this independence, of course, made Jungkook happy and proud because it meant Jimin wanted him for him not for what he had to offer.

**

And then one day, Jungkook had to go on a business trip overseas for a week, during which time he doesn't talk much with Jimin and when he returns he breaks up with Jimin. Actually he didn't mean to break up, it was more of a threatening that if Jimin didn't stop spending his money without reason, then he would break up. But for Jimin it meant they were over

**

Jimin in the first year of dating only used his money but after that year, he started asking Jungkook if it was okay to buy things with Jungkook's money. Jungkook was happy about it and gave the boy his card but the expenditure starting increasing and his cousins started commenting on it. Jimin was also constantly demanding attention- like if Jungkook was overworking himself then the boy would ask the man to stop and spend time with him even if there was an important meeting coming up which needed Jungkook's time but Jungkook loving the boy too much, gave into anything Jimin asked for. Jimin wasn't unreasonable, he took care of Jungkook as well and he didn't really bother the man too much unless it was because Jungkook spend too much time at work.

**

One day, Jimin fractures his leg and takes 6 weeks off till he recovered. Jungkook tells the boy to take a couple of weeks paid leave and unlike his usual behavior, Jimin takes up on that offer - surprising the man. Jimin's personality had changed from what Jungkook knew of him - Jimin became more clingy, jealous (though Jungkook understood why - most of those people were indeed flirting with him but his ego often got hurt when Jimin reminds him not to flirt with other people - didn't Jimin trust him?) and spending a lot of Jungkook's money, that's why Jungkook gave the boy an ultimatum to choose between spending money or being his boyfriend

Jimin had also started buying a lot of gold with Jungkook's card. He remembers his dad saying that it could be a good investment in the future.
