[201] JIKOOK ONESHOTS/ PROMPTS - [ ONGOING ]

[95] SEQUEL TO XMAS - JAN 1 2024

A/N: sequel to XMAS [94]

It wasn't so bad waking up next to a hot neighbor on Christmas day. Jungkook smiled as he watched the tiny boy next to him.

The two had spend the whole night talking about their life , their past, present and future goals. They shared mutual interests. It was surprising to the two that their conservations went on smoothly without any awkwardness or silence in between them.

Later on,

They had finally gotten into bed together, Jimin was the one to insist saying he wouldn't be able to sleep if he let Jungkook sleep on the small couch and Jungkook wouldn't let Jimin sleep on the couch either. After an argument that lasted for less than 1 minute, the two ended up compromising to sleep together.

Jimin stirs up awake sensing something next to him. His first response was a gasp when he saw a hot man next to him, staring at him.

"Did I wake you up? I'm so sorry"

Jimin smiles seeing Jungkook's concern "...no you didn't... I am not used to someone sleeping next to me..."

Jungkook smiles "I hope it wasn't uncomfortable"

"No, not at all... I liked it" Jimin says without thinking

Jungkook grins wide "...Then I can hope for many more...right?"

Jimin blushes before he gets up quickly and rushes to the washroom

"Merry Christmas by the way.." Jimin says before shutting the bathroom door

Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at that

Jimin was indeed cute.

"Merry Christmas!"

After Jimin gets out the washroom, he hands Jungkook a new toothbrush. The two soon get ready and head out for their brunch date

Jungkook enjoyed watching the tiny boy eat. Jimin was just too adorable, Jungkook wanted to eat him up

Jungkook liked people who did what they liked without caring about other people's judgement and he was glad Jimin was the same. Jimin was kind caring but he stood up for himself and never let anyone misuse his kindness - not that he saw it in the amount of time he spent with Jimin but this was what he gathered from the boy's stories.

"Why did you order extra pancakes then?" Jimin asks confused when Jungkook slide the new plate next to the boy after ordering the same at the last minute

"Because you said they were your favorite flavor"

Jimin smiled. Jungkook was caring.

Jungkook paid for the extra pancake. The rest of the amount was shared between the two.

The two then go shopping to buy Jungkook a set of home clothes and outerwear. Jungkook was wearing the clothes from last night.

After they came back home, Jungkook took a quick shower and put on the new homeclothes and out his old clothes in the wash

Jimin went ahead to take a shower while Jungkook made them some coffee.

"Oh my... this is delicious..." Jimin hums taking a sip "...what did you put in it?"

"The secret is a hint of hot chocolate powder..." Jungkook winks

"No wonder..." Jimin takes a sip again "...I love it"

The two talk for a bit more before deciding to watch a movie on Jimin's laptop.

Jungkook made him feel so comfortable that Jimin rested his head over the man's shoulders half way through the movie. Jungkook could feel his heart pick up pace as he felt Jimin on him. He loved the scent of peach that radited off Jimin's hair - his new favorite now for sure. Jungkook casually wrapped his right arm around Jimin's shoulder and smiled when Jimin didn't even flinch and allowed him to.

After the movie, Jimin excused himself to the room to talk to his friends while Jungkook did the same from the living room.

That evening they go out to view the new attractions in town. It was mesmerizing and enchanting and the two felt lucky that they had each other to spend it with

"It's cold isn't it?" Jimin says rubbing his small hands together

Jungkook stops walking. He reaches out to hold Jimin's tiny hands in his bigger ones and blows out warm air on it before rubbing it in between his hands in attempts to warm the boy's hands

"Is it helping?"

Jimin smiles, his cheeks reddening "Y-Yeah..."

Jungkook grins "Good..."

The rest of the evening, Jungkook never let go of Jimin's hands as they intertwined their fingers and walked down the street

The two came home, blissfully happy with their outing

The next day the locksmith came so did Jungkook's brother and his partner. Jimin's best friends had also returned from their honeymoon and they wanted to spend time with the boy. So like that, Jimin and Jungkook got busy

Jimin smiles as he gets to bed and took his phone.

Hey... I am still alive you know..

There was a message from Jungkook. The whole night, they kept exchanging messages

And just like that the days go by till 31st December when their building decides to celebrate and welcome the countdown to the new year on the rooftop.

The two couldn't stop staring at each other on the rooftop. Both got busy though as neighbours came to introduce themselves and just talk. They caught the other's eye multiple times.

"Guys! Come on! The countdown has started"

Everyone rush to the balcony railing, ready with their partners and party poppers and streamers. Jungkook walked up to Jimin who stood near the further end of the rooftop where there was lesser crowd

"Hey"

"Hi"

"The countdown started huh?" Jungkook comments

Jimin smiles

"I missed you" Jungkook says

"I missed you too... it was hectic these few days"

Jimin doesn't reply but immediately pulls Jungkook towards him

Jimin kisses the man passionately

"Happy new year!" They could hear everyone screaming

Jungkook kisses Jimin back passionately

"Happy new year love" Jungkook says softly caressing Jimin's face

"Happy new year Koo"

Jungkook hugs Jimin sideways, their fingers intertwining as the boy rested his head on the man's shoulders

"Be my boyfriend" Jungkook states making Jimin smile

"Gladly"
