[105] BREAKUP - JAN 12 2024

"Just about a year more and then I can move to Seoul, find a job and finally be with you..." Jimin says cuddling with Jungkook

Jungkook and Jimin are childhood classmates turned lovers. They were together till Jungkook's family moved to Seoul at the end of his school year and they maintained a long distance relationship as they joined college.

It's mostly Jungkook who traveled to Busan to meet Jimin especially during the major holidays. Jungkook didn't want the boy to be burdened and also it was an excuse to his parents that he was going to visit his grandparents

Jimin had noticed that for the past month, Jungkook had been a bit aloof or depressed but the man would often brush it off as nothing when the boy would ask him. Even now, Jungkook was preoccupied with messages he received on his phone

"Baby... what's wrong?" Jimin is worried, Jungkook looked like he would cry any moment

"L-Let's ... let's break up..." and with that Jungkook gets off the couch and walks to the main door

"W-why?" Jimin's broken voice makes Jungkook still

"I... I just can't right now..."

Jungkook leaves and Jimin let's out silent tears - he couldn't believe the man he loved so dearly broke up with him without a reason, just like that

But Jimin trusts the man blindly -No, He must have a reason. I will give him some time and then ask him

Jungkook blocked Jimin from all social media. Jimin had no way of contacting him and so he goes to Seoul but Jungkook is angry

"Why are you here?! Are you so pathetic to come behind a man who clearly doesn't want you?! Get out!"

Jimin's heart broke

"A/N is on the phone..." Jungkook's dad shouts from inside

"You have to go..." Jungkook says before closing the door on Jimin's face

A/N is Jungkook's dad's boss's daughter who he has met whenever Jungkook would visit his dad at the office

A/N's dad was a strict man, always expecting her to be perfect, gave her no love as she was a girl, her dad wanted a son, the man never hesitated to slap her if she went against his wishes.

That day, Jungkook saw her when she walked out of her dad's office with a red cheek and sat next to him on the bench outside the room. Jungkook understood what might have happened. He was waiting for his dad to come.

"You should probably put some ice on that...." A/N looks at the man "...is your dad always this scary?"

A/N chuckles "Only because I'm a girl..."

"That's his loss" Jungkook says making A/N look at him in surprise "...you are beautiful, talented and smart... I have seen your works in his office... I just don't understand why he..."

"Thank you..." Jungkook stops talking at that and looks at her

A/N smiles and so does Jungkook - it was a start to their friendship and her obsession

"I'm sorry I only see you as a friend... I already have someone... and I love them very much..." Jungkook tells her once she gathers up courage to confess to him

"Break up with them and come to me..." she sounded desperate

"What?!" Jungkook is shocked

"You are with them before you met me right? Now that you have me, you don't need them..." she sounded crazy

"I'm sorry... meeting you has nothing to do with my love for them... I think we should stop being friends..."

Jungkook turns to leave

"Mark my words Jungkook.... if I can't have you... then no one can..."

A/N tried to convince Jungkook for about a month, it was when Jungkook's behavior towards Jimin changed.

He was afraid - she kept saying he will regret rejecting her, that she would make her family and lover suffer. But he gave a deaf ear. What could she possibly do?

Jungkook was just outside Jimin's door that day when he receives a call from his dad that A/N attempted suicide

And then Jimin opened the door and Jungkook felt some peace of mind and so he entered the apartment

And while they were cuddling, Jungkook's dad kept messaging - A/N had blamed Jungkook in her suicide note. Her dad was angry at Jungkook and his dad for this incident. When Jungkook was at his breaking point, he received a timed message from A/N with Jimin's photo stating that she would be targeting Jimin next. That's when Jungkook decides to break up with the boy

It's been 6 months of Jungkook constantly begging A/N to leave Jimin alone. Jungkook is made to work like her personal assistant by her dad on her request

"Please..." Jungkook is on his knees in front of A/N "....please don't do this...I am not talking to him then why are you threatening me again with his photos?"

"But you still love him don't you? You are here physically but your heart and mind is all about him, isn't it? What more should I do to make you mine!?"

"What did you just say?" Her dad walks in

He heard everything and understood that Jungkook was the victim and not his daughter

He slaps her

She scoffs

"I can't have my dad's love. I can't have the love of the man I love then why am I still here huh? Am I that unlovable dad? Why don't you love me dad? I have done everything you wanted me to... then why?!" A/N bursts out crying and her dad stood shocked.

"I'm sorry my daughter..." her dad hugs her to calm her down. Once she falls asleep

"Jungkook... you are free to leave..go back to your partner... I'm sorry on behalf of my daughter....it's all my fault..I will make sure this doesn't happen again..."

Jimin's eyes widen in shock seeing Jungkook outside his door after 6 months. Jungkook looked really pale

Jimin wanted to shut the door on his face. He had given Jungkook time but 6 months is too long to completely ghost him

"Jungkook... just leave.." Jimin says closing the door but Jungkook stops the door midway

"Please... listen to me..."

"Why should I Jungkook? I am the pathetic guy who chased after the guy who broke up with me... why should I listen to you when you couldn't even give me a reason back then?" Jimin's eyes fill with angry tears

"I know .... I'm sorry... but please... give me a chance.." Jungkook nearly falls to the floor

Jimin helps the man to the couch

Jimin looks at the man who just told his entire story. Jungkook knew that no one would understand what he went through, that anyone would blame him for being so weak

Jungkook looks at the boy who held his hands in his own gently

"....It must have been hard for you" Jimin says so softly that Jungkook just burst out crying. Jimin was indeed a kind soul

Jimin hugs him, his own heart breaking while Jungkook rested his head on the boy's chest and clinged on to him for life as he cried his heart out. Jimin couldn't help the tears that escaped his eyes too

"Now stop crying..." Jimin pulls away to wipe Jungkook's tears "...I am here for you...always..." Jimin kisses the top of Jungkook's head

"I love you... I love you so much ...please never leave me...I can't take it..." Jungkook says as he held Jimin's hands that were resting in his face. Jimin smiles

"I love you too..." Jimin rests his forehead against the man's
