"Appa..." Jihoon pouts nearing Jimin who was cleaning the kitchen counter

Jimin smiles turning around to see his 3 year old son tugging at his pants with an adorable pout

"What is it, my baby?"

"...banana milk..." Jihoon's eyes tear up

Jimin's eyes widen when he realizes that yesterday night Jungkook had drank the last milk packet and had asked Jimin to buy some today. He had also promised Jihoon that they could go buy some after lunch but then Jihoon slept off and Jimin got busy with teaching Jisoo her school lessons, cleaning the house and preparing dinner for the family

Jimin wipes his hands on the kitchen towel and then picks up Jihoon in his arms

"Aww baby... appa is sorry... appa forgot to buy the groceries today..." Jihoon pouts more and starts crying

"...b-banana milk...."

"Baby please don't cry..." Jimin tries to soothe Jihoon's discomfort. He was kinda cranky today. "...I promise I will get you the milk tomorrow..."

Jihoon pouts and his eyes tear up more

Jimin's heart breaks at that and he kisses the boy's face softly

"...how about you tell Jisoo noona to get ready... let's all go out today and buy tons of banana milk..."

Jihoon is happy "...don't tell dadda ...."

"Why? Do you want to surprise him?" Jimin giggles as Jihoon nods

Jimin checks the time as he gets them all ready. It was already 6pm. Jungkook would be home around 8pm. There was enough time to go and buy the groceries and come back on time. Usually Jimin and the kids don't like going out after 5pm. Generally they felt it safer to be out during the daylight. Jimin wasn't so confident in going out with his 3 and 6 year olds by himself. But Jihoon was extra cranky today and he needed to cheer the boy up. He didn't want to trouble Jungkook with buying the groceries after a long day at work.

Jimin and the kids leave. Jimin doesn't let Jungkook know because he was sure they would be back home before Jungkook got home. Little did Jimin know that Jungkook was already on his way home, wanting to surprise his family by coming home early

Jungkook has an uneasy feeling as soon as he opens the door to enter a very quiet apartment. Usually he could hear the screams of his two naughty kids from the elevator entrance.

Jungkook reached home around 6.30pm. He tried to call Jimin but his phone was off. Jungkook sighs - it often happens because the kids use Jimin's phone to watch something and then his cute husband forgets to charge his phone. Jungkook tries to stay positive as the time rolled by as it was unusual behavior to be not home after 5pm - Jiminah must have taken the kids out to the playground or around the block for a walk.

Jungkook looks at the time - its 6.45pm. Did Jimin take the kids to hyung's house?

Jungkook calls Jin but the man informs him that Jimin didn't come there. Jungkook then called Jimin's and his parents but when they both asked him how the kids and Jimin were, he knew his family wasn't with them.

Jungkook immediately goes out, fearing the worst. He went to the playground and around the block, asking neighbors if they saw Jimin and the kids. Someone said they did see them but had no idea where they were going.

Jungkook rushes back home hoping they were back but he was met with radio silence.

Jungkook had tears in his eyes, fear and anxiety building up inside him. He didn't know what to do, he grabbed his hair as he tried to calm himself and that's when he hears the door opening along with giggles of his precious kids

"Dadda!" Jihoon rans towards Jungkook and the man immediately kneels down to capture his youngest and kiss him all over his face, Jisoo also by then had run to her dadda, she too received multiple kisses from her dad as tears of relief glittered in his eyes

Both kids giggle at the kisses

"Jungkook?! You are home early..." Jungkook stands up as Jimin nears him and the kids ran off to the bedroom ".... When did you come? I'm sorry we weren't..." Jimin's words were cut off by the tight hug Jungkook gave him

Jimin was confused at the sudden tight hug. Jungkook usually hugged him very softly as if he was the most delicate flower in the planet

"J-Jungkook?" Jimin could feel his shirt getting wet

"Do you know how worried I was when I came to an empty house?" Jimin pulls Jungkook away from the hug to look at him. His own eyes started tearing up seeing how his manly husband was crying because of him

"I'm so sorry..." Jimin's words are cut off by Jungkook pulling him into a rough kiss

"How dare you?!"

Jimin is shocked at the aggressiveness

"I thought I would never see you guys again... Noone knew where you guys went to... I couldn't reach you on your phone... do you know what all thoughts went through my mind in 60 minutes?" Jungkook was crying against Jimin's lips

"I'm sorry..." Jimin wipes away the man's tears. Jimin could see the fear, pain and relief in Jungkook's eyes "...I love you so much..." Jimin wipes Jungkook's tears gently "...we would never leave you... and next time I promise to inform you before we leave the house..." Jimin says softly kissing against the man's lips, making Jungkook groan as he passionately kissed Jimin back

"Dadda!" The kids ran back into the living room "...did appa already tell you about the banana milk?" Jihoon pouts "...I was supposed to tell you that..."

Jungkook chuckles at his son's pout

"You got me banana milk?... your appa didn't tell me anything...." Jungkook bends down to pick Jihoon in his arms

"Then why were you kissing appa? Only I get to kiss appa!"

"Oh really? Then how about I kiss you?" Jungkook says kissing all over Jihoon's face

"Dadda stoppp!"

Jimin giggles at that

"Eww" Jisoo says watching Jungkook kissing Jihoon

"Oh you want some kisses too?" Jungkook says holding Jihoon and now running behind Jisoo who is running away from her dad

Jimin giggles as Jisoo hides behind him

"Appa help!"

Jungkook smiles as Jimin holds Jisoo protectively behind him

"You both don't want dadda's kisses then I will give my kisses to someone else..." Jungkook smiles drawing near Jimin

"As long as it's appa then it's okay..." Jisoo says making the adults chuckle

"Nooooooooo! Only I can kiss appa!" Jihoon whines making Jungkook chuckle a bit more

He pulls his family into a group hug

"I would do anything to have this... please don't ever leave me... I love you all so much..."

"We love you too dadda" the kids say

"Okay kids... come help appa put everything in the fridge..." Jimin says making the kids run off to the kitchen

Jungkook holds Jimin's wrist when he started walking towards the kitchen, making Jimin turn and look at the taller man

"I love you"

Jimin smiles already feeling Jungkook pull him into a soft yet passionate kiss

"I love you too"
