"I want to try something."
I do not know what Wednesday, could possibly be up to. I don't think she will try to kill me, even though a gorgon's head is worth a lot on the black market. A mature gorgon's head even more, since they are capable of permanent stoning.
Yet, I close my eyes. All I can hear is our combined breathing. Then, I feel a hands sliding against my arms, touching the reptilian skin that now covers them. My breathing gets heavier. I feel Wednesday's presence closer to me. Then, one of the hands slides to the back of the neck, and pulls me forward. Then I feel Wednesday's lips on mine.
The heat that we felt, at our first meeting, nowpresenting itself, in our first kiss. And it feels like the volcano exploded. Ireach out my hands and pull her closer to me. We keep on kissing, and she wrapsher hands in my hair of vipers, and I feel warmth spread though my entire body.After, what feels like hours we start slowing down. And she releases hercontact, and somehow I am in the hall way, and she shuts the door on me. Istand at the door, cannot believing that just happened. I look at my hands, andI am normal again.
