Percy's POV

It was boring.

Standing by Chaos and watching him talk to the king wasn't fun. I stifled a yawn, and I was glad that my mask hid my face. I fingered my knife in the folds of my cloak. The king looked dangerous. He was tall, and in his late 30's or early 40's. He had dark, brown hair and dark eyes that glittered like a snake. The sword hanging from his waist was definately not decor- he probably could put up a fight.

I didn't like him.

"- right Omega?"

I blinked once. "Yes sir."

He nodded and stared at the king, who pursed his lips together.

"Well, I guess we could if you reduced your military bases in our planet."

He frowned. "... I'm not very sure about that."

"We can't."

The king stared at me. "Why not?"

"This planet could be destroyed by planet 40781 anytime we're gone."

"We can solve our own problems."

I narrowed my eyes. "Well-"

"I'm afraid it will be hard to take away all bases." Chaos cut in. "We can reduce the number-"

"No." again?! He scowled. "I want all the bases away. All of them."

"But-"

Chaos dissapeared.

My sword was on his neck.

"What did you do." I hissed.

He looked down at the sword.

"I thought we were negotiating." he said cooly.

"Where. Did. Chaos. Go."

He glanced down at the sword again.

I took it off slowly.

He grabbed a small device.

"Block all portals! Send the troops in and-"

I slashed through his hand and he screamed as his hand fell to the ground.

"Where's Chaos?!"

"Outside the castle." he held his wrist to his shirt. "I can't kill you with him around."

"What?!"

I heard footsteps.

He smiled. "You'll have to get through them to go home."

The soldiers kicked the door open, and I grasped my sword tight.

"Your planet is going down."

~

I didn't count.

My knees felt weak, but I kept fighting.
