Annabeth's POV

Percy was moving around the next day, making sure that camp was running smoothly.

I knew it was his job, but someone else could do it for him. He seemed fine though.

"Annie!"

I whipped around to see Thaila with her arms outstreched. I ran right into her arms.

"Oh my gods! How are you here?"

She pulled back, now with a worried look in her eyes.

"I heard that Percy was sick."

"Hi Thals."

She nodded at Luke. "Hi."

There was an awkward silence, and Luke rubbed the back of his neck, smiling.

"Why are you here?"

"Percy." She said shortly.

"Why me?"

Percy stood behind me, holding his clipboard. I took my time to admire him in his casual clothes. His green eyes twinkled at Thaila, the gold flecks glinting in the sun.

"For camp idiot." she retorted.

Percy rolled his eyes. "I strongly believe that you came because you wanted to see me."

"Fat chance Kelp Head."

"Pinecone Face."

She smiled and punched him on the shoulder.

"Nice to see you."

He rubbed his shoulder. "Yeah."

"I saw the new Artemis cabin. It's really nice." she said

He nodded. "The cyclops made it."

"Help from your dad?"

He frowned, but nodded. "He didn't really need to help but..."

"Thaila?"

"I need to go." she smiled and ruffled his hair on tiptoes.

I watched her run off to the Artemis cabin and looked at Percy. He smiled at me. I kissed his cheek and linked my arm into his.

"Did you know that you look beautiful today?"

"You too." I smiled.

His hand grabbed mine as he stared at me with affectionate eyes. I looked away, laughing.

"You're going to bore holes through me!"

He pecked me on the cheek. "I can't help my eyes from looking at you."

I nudged him. "What were you doing? Lts do it together."

A sly smile slipped up to his face. "Sleeping?"

"Percy!"
