I had been separated from the group for about a week now. I was being chased by a massive hoard I had been running and hiding for a day straight. I was running back towards the way to the prison when I came up to the gates I saw Carl.
"Carl" I screamed sprinting towards him. He didn't hear me thou.
"Carl" I yelled again once I got closer he looked up quickly scanning around to see me.
"Y/N" he yelled out as I got closer. I saw I wasn't at the opening gate I was at the back of the prison fence.
"Daryl, Dad, Glenn" He yelled out grabbing their attention my dad came running over.
"Y/N where have you been sweetheart" Daryl asked.
"I have to get inside dad a hoard of 40 walkers are coming" I said worriedly.
"Okay come to the gates" he said.
"Y/N watch out" Carl yelled as I swung around cutting into a walkers head. The walkers came out of the forest and I knew I wouldn't be able to out run them again I was exhausted and would never make it all around.
"Carl" I said taking my hands in his through the fence.
"You have to go" he said.
"Carl just litsen, I love you with my soul, heart, and body so much" I said tears rolling down my face.
"What are you talking about, we need to go" he said panicked.
"Carl I can't out run them" I whispered.
"No," he said shaking his head tears rolling down his face as well.
"I love you, dad, I love you, Carl," I said looking at both of them as Daryl came back.
All of a sudden a sharp pain rang through my shoulder and then the rest of my body as I screamed as each walker sunk their rotten teeth into my flesh.
"No" Carl screamed still holding onto my hand through the fence.
The last thing I heard was my dad screaming and Carl screaming he loved me.
Carls P.O.V:
I sat there in Michonnes arms as I watched the walkers tear apart the love of my life. She was gone, she was really gone. I sobbed as I blanked out into space not wanting to know the reality that was happening.All of a sudden everything went dark then I awoke in my bed.
I sat up in a panicked sweat as I searched for Y/N who was sleeping soundly next to me until she awoke nervously wondering what was wrong.
"Babe what happened, are you okay" She asked concerned.
"Ya I just had a bad dream" I said pulling her into a hug and kissing her.
"What happened" She asked. I explained everything to her.
"It's okay I'm right here" She whispered while hugging me. "I'm right here" She pulled me back down and put her hands around me as she dug her head into my chest. I wrapped her in a tight hug not wanting to let her go in case she slipped away and I awoke to her being gone again.
