Relic

"You're saying you want her life." Naiinis na sabi ni Thane.

"Oh not her life. You're underestimating her spiritual energy boy."

"Fine. In exchange I want the information at gusto ko ring kunin mo ang bagay na to sa leeg ko as well as the necklace on his neck." Sinabi ko sabay turo sa leeg ni Thane.

"Hoy, seryoso ka ba?!" Tanong ng peste. Do I look like I have the time to joke right now?!

"Ah, you're so generous."

May sinabi siya na kung ano habang hinahawakan ang bilog sa leeg ko at bigla nalang itong nahulog. Wala nadin akong nararamdamang mabigat, and I can now feel emptions around me. It looked like that thing blocked my ability. Tapos hinugot ng babae ang kwintas na parang wala lang ito sa leeg ni Thane. Napapikit siya dahil sa biglaang sakit pero wala na naman.

"The information after the energy." Seryoso niyang sinabi. Mukhang kailangan niya nga takaga ang spiritual energy, pero para saan? Hindi naman yata siya may sakit.

"I'm a witch. I use energy to heal."

"Ano naman ang ginagawa ng isang witch dito sa isla?" Thane.

"Why are you even asking? Marami na ang nakapasok sa isla na walang permisyon," I gulped. "At hindi na bago kung may papasok ditong witch. Even the Black Clan made it inside. Of course, you're from the Academy, wala kayong alam dito sa labas ng eskwelahan niyo."

"Is that an insult?"

"Consider it as a compliment. Behind those gates, you're safe from the threat on the outside. So consider yourselves lucky." Tapos tumingin siya sa akin. "Now, the energy."

I nodded. Pinatong niya ang kamay niya sa ulo ko, then I saw light glowing from me. I also feel an energy wave going to hers. Kakaiba ito sa pakiramdam. I feel my life force sucking from me, but no, I don't feel dying at all. I saw the woman frown, tapos tumigil na siya pagkatapos ng ilang minuto. I was panting, grabe kasi siya kumuha ng spiritual energy. I inhaled and exhaled feeling their emotions. Their emotions were restoring the energy that was lost, replacing newer form of energy, at dumadami pa ang energy na nararamdaman ko.

"Such a large energy capacity....I don't usually ask this but, what's your name?"

"Keila Willar." She gave me a pat on the head. Which irritated me.

"Your real name." Medyo nagulat ako sa tanong niya. "I'm a witch. I know if one's lying or not."

"It was not a lie." She sighed.

"Oh well. The thief is heading to Carmen, a town located nearby. He can't be underestimated. His ability is too powerful for the both of you. He's got strenght of a hundred men. And now that someone knows my current location, I'll be going. See you around."

Bigla nalang siyang naglaho sa harapan namin. Namatay din ang mga apoy kaya dumilim na naman. Unlike us ability users, alchemists, mages, witches, wizards, they can do almost everything. I sighed and looked at Thane who, is looking at me. 

He nodded at me at lumabas na kami sa cave. Ang daming nangyari sa araw na ito, and I'm guessing it's around midnight. I smiled. Kahit na muntikan na akong mamatay sa araw nato, first time ko ring ma-experience ang mga bagay na nangyayari. I'm really glad I came here. But now I should focus on the present mission. Dahil alam ko na magiging mas masaya ako kung gising na si Hoy.
