"Now Kion, do you regret having those feelings for me?"

I don't know why I asked him those words before. He was supposed to be the crowned prince, but now a girl just suddenly shows up and took him his title. Simula bata pa siya, marami siguro ang paghihirap na dinanas niya para lang makuha ang trono, pero nandito ako ngayon kaya hindi niya yun magagawa.

That is unless he shove me out of the picture.

But me? Well I don't particularly hate the idea of being the ruler of such a powerful Kingdom, who wouldn't? However, I dislike the thought of it either. Plus, I do think ruling a messed up Kingdom is troublesome. I don't know if this is only a game that old King set for a far more grand plan, but I'm not going to play with him. But then again, I am on the King's faction, it means I'm against Kion. So even if I don't want to get involve, I'm already a starting player.

"What are you thinking?" Tanong ni Silv habang tumayo siya sa tabi ko. Kumakain siya ng isang pirasong cookie, he seems to like it otherwise he wouldn't bother eating.

Nakasakay kami ngayon sa isang barko which the King himself provided. As the announced next successor, hindi ko mapigilang maka-attract ng atensyon ng iba. Words travel fast around here at kahit saan ako pumunta, may mga tao talagang titingin sa direksyon ko. I even heard there are rumours going around that I am an illegitimate child from another woman. Apparently, it was already known that the King is a loyal man who loved his past wife dearly so it only stayed as a rumour.

Wala din akong rason na pagsabihan silang hingi totoo ang mga sinasabi nila tungkol sa relasyon ko sa hari, since he's ignoring it. Was he perhaps thinking it's fine for them to think that way para mas makilala ang karapatan ng pagiging successor ko? But he didn't even mention it to me beforehand and just directly announced it.

Strange enough though, hindi ako nagulat dito. Siguro inaasahan ko na ang mga pangyayaring ityon, but at that time, my thoughts were engulfed by Kion's surprised expression that ai couldn't think of anything else. May naramdaman din akong galit sa kaniya at sakit, all those directed to me. Dalawang araw na simula nangyari iyon pero hanggang ngayon hindi parin siya nagpapakita. Minerva has vanished alongside him too. Tsaka ko nalaman na isa si Athena sa Arkion faction.

The Elite, Andrei, has been ignoring me as well. She said not to get too close to the King and that happened. She seems to be lost in her thoughts all the time and has been avoiding me. Tinanggihan ko na ang hari matapos ang party na iyon nung gabi, pero tumawa lang siya at mukhang walang planong bawiin ang sinabi niya.

Ngayon ay papunta kami sa Stereden Academy. It was a school reserved for mages in this Kingdom, since half of the population are all mages. Trudy Drome, that old geezer expects me to get rid of that guy to weaken the Arkion faction, pero may pakiramdam ako na inaasahan na nila ito especially this news about me becoming a successor. Kung iisipin mas mapapadali pa nga ang lahat kung tinago muna ng hari ang pagiging successor ko rather than telling anyone straight up. What is he really planning?

"You know you can just run away from all of this, don't you?" Umakyat si Silv sa may railings at umupo dito, swaying his legs back and forth along with the wind. Hindi sila sasama sa akin ni Ellise sa Academy, they don't have magic after all kaya malamang dito sila magste-stay sa barko.

"I won't know what to do if I did." After all, the guilt is still alive inside of me. If this is some kind of retribution for me to atone my sins, then I'll gladly do anything.
