"Anong mas maganda yellow or orange?"

She's not talking to anyone. As usual. She's just sitting there near the corner with her earphones on. Eating Oreo. Cute cheeks. Medyo nalobo kapag nanguya sya. Unconsciously, my lips slowly curved into a smile.

"Huy!"

"Y-Yeah?" My eyebrows suddenly furrowed with Yana's narrow eyes. Did I do something wrong? She's looking at me like I committed some kind of crime. She heaved a sigh and with the tone she used, seemed like she repeated what she was saying.

"Yellow or orange? Ano mas okay?" Unlike earlier, she showed me her sunshine smile. Nakakasilaw. I looked at her phone to see the item that she was talking about. Ah. Bag. Shoulder bag to be exact. Akala ko naman kung ano.

I shrugged. Is the color important? Parehas lang naman ang style nung bag. Kulay lang pinagkaiba. Weird. Pwede namang kahit anong piliin niya? Why is she asking my opinion though? I just pointed out one randomly to satisfy her.

Yellow. Bahala na. Parehas lang naman ng hitsura.

"Sabi na eh, mas maganda tingnan ano?" Ha? So she already decided earlier, she just wanted my validation? Natawa na lang ako. Jolly as always. She talked about random things and I responded accordingly.

Karaniwan kasi nag-jo-joke sya. Napapatingin tuloy yung ibang galing sa labas mula sa break sa amin. Yana and I started to get close that day she talked to me about Richandre. She's comfortable to be with, but despite that, my eyes still kept on searching for that reserved girl.

"Pero masaya mamaya wala ng klase dahil sa yell!" Yana clapped her hands cutely. I pinched her cheeks. Ewan ko, gusto ko lang pisilin ang cute kasi. Nung ginawa ko yun, pinagsisihan ko rin bigla.

Damn. She's looking at me! Nakatingin na parang may gustong malaman. Napalayo ako kay Yana ng kaunti. Samantalang tatawa tawa lang si Yana at lumapit pa sa akin. Napalunok ako.

I was nervous when she landed her eyes on me, which rarely happens! Tapos palpak pa kasi nagkukulitan kami ni Yana. Ano kayang naiisip ng isang yun? Na fling ko si Yana? O girlfriend ko? If that's what she's thinking about, dapat hindi! Kasi hindi talaga!

Wait? Why am I even caring about this thing? Ano ngayon kung tingin niya flirt ako? Ano ngayon kung tingin niya kami ni Yana? Ano ngayon kung habulin ako ng babae? Ano ngayon?

What am I thinking about? Agh! I need to focus on Yana so that girl won't bother my mind again. Why is she always on my line of vision? Why am I so curious about her? I am going crazy. And this is bad.

Halos pa tatlong linggo pa lang ang klase. I'd surely forget about her soon enough.

"Practice practice lang sa yell!" Tumatawang sabi ni Yana.

"Bakit may yell?" Tanong ko na lang. Acquaintance Party kasi ng school sa Friday at may yell na gaganapin sa buong school. Everyone is to participate in the yell. Starting from Kindergarten to Grade 10.

"Parang battle ganun. Laban laban, pagalingan, nakasanayan na rin ng school, para sa opening ng school year. Ang saya kaya! First time mo pa! Mag-eenjoy ka!" She said cheerfully.

True to her words, the yell practice was fun. Nagkakatuwaan kami nina DJ sa practice kasi nakakatawa yung mga pinagsasabi namin. Tapos may mga actions pa kaya naman lalong gumulo sa klase.
