Iris has hid something from Nora for 7 years. It was a letter from Barry that he told iris to give her when she understands what happened.
"Nora. I have something to give you." Iris said as she walked into her daughters bedroom at night.
She was about to go to sleep but iris kept her up.
"What is it?" She asked.
"It's a letter. From your dad." Said iris.
"Really?" She asked happily.
"Yeah sweetie." Iris said as she handed it to Nora.
She read in her head:
Dear Nora Bear,
I bet you never really knew I call you that. My little Nora bear. At this point I am probably missing. But don't fear, I'm going to be okay. As long as you and your mom love each other and protect each other, I will feel loved too. I know you will cry and be angry that you don't have your dad, but I grew up without my dad too. It's not so hard after a while. You're the most beautiful little girl I've ever seen in the multiverse. You are an Allen, which means your clumsy but loyal. And you're a west, which means your forgiving and beautiful. The best combination. I want you to know that I'm okay. Wherever I am, I am okay. Sweetie, I'm the flash, you have powers darling. You have super speed. Your family at star labs will help you like they did me. And one day, you will find me. And we will find each other and I will come home to you and mommy.
I love you with every fiber in my being,

Nora stares at it. She can't believe her father wrote her a letter before he left.
"Goodnight sweetie." Iris said as she kissed her head.
"Goodnight mommy." She said as she clutched the letter to her chest the whole night.
