Felix looks at them dead into their eyes before letting out a heavy sigh. Jeongin is covering his whole face with both of his palms as his body shaking, obviously holding his cry.
"Jisung is still unconscious. He hasn't wake up yet..."
"Anything the doctor said??"
"He... He lost lots of blood and the chance of him surviving is-"
Before Felix even finished his sentence, the cat burst into tears. Body shaking violently, crying harder than before with Jeongin started to cry louder as well. All the humans on the other line are panicking. They don't know what's making the hybrids cry but what they all know right now is just they wanted to give them a big hug to calm them down.
"Jisung only has 50 percent of chances to survive. I can't lose him. I just can't."
Felix continued after wiping his tears using his sleeves.
"You won't lose him, baby. We all won't. Jisung is strong. He's gonna make through it."
Changbin coaxed his mate. A male wearing a long white coat with stethoscope around his neck approaching both the sitting cat and fennec fox before the call ended. Hyunjin and Changbin exchange glances to each other.
"It's a doctor."
"Yes, maybe they're talking about Jisung."
"Should we inform Minho hyung about this?"
"Give him some time first. It's a lot for him to process."
....
"Process what?"
"Processing the situation, of cour- Minho hyung!?"
They're surprised to see Minho coming out from his room before settling down on the couch. His eyes are red and puffy, but it's also obvious that he washed his face before coming downstairs.
"You guys called Felix and Jeongin?"
"Uh, yes. We did."
Minho took a deep breath before forcing a small smile.
"How's my baby?"
