I heard some of Milan and her mom's argument. Her mom has been doing her like that since she was 10. I felt bad for her. Only thing she want is some motherly love. Deep down she just want a healthy relationship with her mom.

I heard the front door close and I came out. I didn't see Milan or her mom. I assume her mom left and she was in her room. I locked the door and walked up to Milan's door. I heard her crying so I went in. She peeked her head from under the covers as I got in the bed. I picked her body up and placed hers on top of mine. She placed her face in my neck as I pulled her closer and threw the covers over us. She started crying a bit harder. I held her, rubbed her back, and just let her cry. She needed to let out all her emotions and I was allowing that. 15 minutes she had calmed down but was still sniffing. She ended up falling asleep. I continued holding her as I grabbed her remote and cut the tv on. I cut it down so it wouldn't wake her. After like 30 minute, my phone started ringing. I quickly silenced it as Milan started moving. She finally stopped and I answered it.

"Hello..." I answered

"Well hello to you too..." Cameron said on the other end

"Shit, my bad I ain't even look at the caller
ID..." I said

"You good. What you got going today??" She asked

"Nothing prolly. Milan and her mom just got into it and she's bummed out so she might be in the house all day..." I said honestly

"Aww you care about her..." she said

"I'm her security guard I'm supposed to..." I said smiling

"Nawllll..." she said making me laugh

"Mane get out my ear..." I said making her laugh
"What you doing??"

"Nun finna find us some to eat cuz baby didn't feel like cooking..." she said

"We already ate..." I said

"Who cooked and didn't invite us??" She asked

"I cooked cuz she was upset last night and didn't get to eat..." I said while rubbing her back

"You like her don't you..." she said

"No I don't..." I said

"Who do you think your fooling??" She asked

"Cameron leave me alone please..." I said rolling my eyes

"Just admit it and I'll leave you alone..." she said

"I'm not admitting nothing cuz it's not true..." I said

"Well messing with you it shall be..." she said making me smack my lips

We talked for a few more minutes before we hung up. I started watching tv until I ended up dozing off.

*2 hours later*

I woke up to some movement on top of me and some knocking. I opened my eyes to see Milan getting up and going to the door. I rolled over and pulled the cover back over me. A heard a bit of talking then I heard the door close. A few minutes later I heard her come back in the room. She lifted the cover, slid in, and moved close to me.

"Who was it??" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist pulling her closer

"My mom sent flowers and donuts for an apology..." she said against my chest

"Mmm..." I said

She wrapped her arm around me.

"What you wanna do today??" I asked
