Today is Saturday and today is Zion's Grandma's funeral. She didn't wanna go, but something clicked in her head yesterday and she said she needed to go. I wasn't going cuz I believe in pregnant women not going to a funeral, but I'll be close by. Cam was going to the funeral with her. Lani and I would be waiting on them.

"You sure you wanna go, baby??" I asked fixing her tie

"I have to..." she said and I nodded

I wasn't going to question her. If she needed to then that's what it's going to be. She finished getting ready and I slid on some leggings and a jacket.

"You look good baby..." I said smiling at her

"Thank you..." she said before kissing me

She sprayed on her cologne, grabbed her shades, and we headed out the door. As we were heading out Lani and Cam was pulling in. They got in the truck with us and we headed out.

2 HOURS & A HALF LATER

We finally pulled up to the church. She parked on the side, let the windows down a bit, and cut the truck off. She turned and looked at me.

"I'm not staying in there for too long. It shouldn't last long..." she said

"Okay..." I said

"What's wrong??" She asked

"I just don't want what happened last time to happen again. I hate seeing you like that..." I said looking at her

"I know baby. But I promise I'm fine..." she asked

"Okay..." I said nodding

She pecked my lips three times before looking back at Cam.

"Let's go..." they got out of the car and headed in

They were cute in their casual clothes.

"They look so cleaned up and cute..." I said

"Yes, girl. I was tryna serve baby some pussy earlier..." she says and I hit her

"We are on church ground..." I said looking at her

"Milan we on the side of the road..." she said

"You know what, you right..." I said making her laugh

"So you weren't thinking like that when you saw your woman??" She asked

"Yeah, she looks incredible. But we haven't been having sex or thinking about sex in the last 2 months..." I said

"Not y'all..." Lani said

"Yeah, we honestly haven't. We are still very affectionate, but sex hasn't really been crossing our minds. We are just enjoying this pregnancy journey and getting ready for parenthood..." I said

"That's so cute of y'all. Y'all are going to be great parents..." she said and I smiled at her

"So how have things been with you and Cam??" I asked

"Amazing girl. This is the first woman I've ever been with that makes me feel loved and wanted. When she's wrong, she admits and apologizes. She taught me about accountability. Be accountable for what I do and apologize. She's grateful for everything. She's just soo sweet and I love her..." she said smiling

"Awww Lani..." I said smiling
"Cam is good for you. The way she treats you, talks to you, and talks about you. Y'all compliment each other so well. She's the one..." I said

We were just talking and eating snacks. After a while, I started to get nauseous. Lani started the car and turned the air full blast. I had to urge to throw up.

"Give me a plastic bag..." I said softly

She quickly emptied the snacks out of the bag and gave it to me. Soon as she did, it came up. I threw up heavily. Once I was done, she gave me a wipe to wipe my mouth. She threw the bag in the bushes on the other side of the street across from the church. I drank some of my water.
I saw Cam and Zion coming out of the church. My stomach started to turn. I opened the door and started throwing up more.

I heard feet running to me.

"Baby, you good??" Zion asked rubbing my back

More came out and it went all ova her shoes. FUCK!!

I finally got it all out. I lifted and burped. Zion wiped my mouth while holding me close to her. I closed my eyes and let the air run on my face. I felt relief from whatever the fuck that was. Zion wiped my face while still holding me close.

"You okay baby??" She asked

I opened my eyes and look at her.

"Yes, I feel better..." I said truthfully

She nodded while fanning me.

"I'm sorry about your shoes..." I said softly

"It's okay baby. They're just shoes, I can always get some more. As long as you okay, I'm good..." she said making me smile

She continued fanning me until I lifted up. The nausea was gone.

"Give me some gum..." I said looking at Lani

She dug into her purse and gave it to me. Zion rubbed my stomach as she looked at me.

"What baby??" I said looking at her and placing my hand on top of hers

"You sure you good??" She asked

"Yes, I'm fine..." I said smiling
"How was it??"

"It was decent. They really didn't notice me cuz I was at the back. I went up and viewed her then we left out..." she said

"How are you feeling??" I asked rubbing her arm

"I'm okay. It's unfortunate how everything is going on, but you know it happens..." she said

"Yeah..." I said softly

"ZION!!" We heard

We looked and saw her uncle jogging to the truck.

"Hey..." I said speaking to Lani and I

We spoke back.

"I didn't think you were going to show up Niece..." he said looking at Zion

"I know. I just needed to see her one last time cuz the hospital visit was ruined..." Zion said

"Yeah, I understand..." he said nodding

The cousin headed to the truck also. They talked for a while. They were few of Zion's family members that cool asf.

"Your cousins and I will come to visit next time we are in town..." Terry said

"I'll be looking forward to that..." Zion said smiling

They hugged and her uncle looked at me.

"Zion take care of her..." he said smiling

"You know I am..." she said

He shook my hand and I gave him a side hug. They went back to where the other family members were and we headed out.

"You know, it's good that you are getting back connected with some of your family members. It makes me happy for you..." I said rubbing her thigh as she smiled

"Me too. I missed the ones who I hung out with the most and who respected me..." she said grabbing my hand so we were holding hands
