It's been 3 months and everything has been great. Zion and I are happy and I'm happy about that. Everyday I become happier and happier. Mom has been in my life full time, Melody is ready to give birth any day now, and everything is just great.

Today was the day of the court date. I was nervous. Nervous of what's going to happen. Nervous about seeing him after what he did. Just nervous.

This morning Zion cooked me a breakfast and talked to me. Mom and Melody came down here for the court date. Mom was coming with me, but Melody was visit family down here. Everybody came to support and gave me encouragement. I'm happy for the people in my life. I love every last one of them.

Zion, Mom, and I were heading to justice court. I was rubbing my hand together and looking out the window. I felt Zion hand slid in between mine and she intertwined her fingers with me. I turned to looked at her and she was looking at me smiling. I gave her a smile, kissed the back of her hand, and looked back outside.

It took us like 25 minutes to get there. Once we pulled up, my nerves kicked in. I started fidgeting with stuff. Zion got out, opened the door for mom and me. She grabbed my hand and helped me out.

"It's going to be fine. We're here for you and I'm not going to let anything happen to you..." she said softly as she pulled me closer to her

I nodded while looking in her eyes.

"Okay!?" She said

"Okay..." I said softly

She kissed my forehead, hand, then my lips. She held her hand out, I put my hands in hers, and we all walked in. We walked in and it was slightly full.

"Will everybody be in the courtroom??" I asked Zion

"Yeah..." she said
"You never been to court??"

"No..." I said shaking my head

"So you a good girl??" She asked looking at me smiling

"I mean yeah..." I said smiling too

"Well, it's not that bad. You go up, they gone ask you a few question retaining to him and you gone sit. They might pull you up for more questions, but that's all..." she said

"That's it??" I asked

"Yes..." she said

"I don't know, I'm just nervous..." I said honestly

"You're going to be fine baby..." she said looking at me

And I nodded.

She grabbed my face and pecked my lips.

"Calm down, you got this..." she said
"Okay!?"

"Okay..." I said squeezing her hand

"You wanna meet the other girls??" She asked

"Yes..." I said while nodding

We walked deeper and I looked back to see my mom talking to Terry. I looked back head of me and I seen 3 girls sitting together ahead of us. When we got close to them.

"Morning ladies..." Zion said making them look back

They all spoke but one of them got up to hug her. Zion never let go of my hand as she hugged her back.

"Well this is Milan. Milan this is Kennedy, Jana, and Brit..." she said introducing us

"Hey..." I said with a small smile waving

"So, you the 4th one..." Jana said

"Unfortunately..." I said
"Hopefully after today there won't be anymore of us..."

"Ain't that the truth..." Kennedy said

Brit was the one that hugged Zion and she was now staring at me.

"So Milan..." Brit said

I looked at her to let her know she had my attention.

"How you know Officer Adams??" She asked me

"Officer Adams..." I said looking at Zion with an eyebrow raised

She smiled and I looked back at ole girl.

"Officer Adams and I been knowing each other for a few months and we got a bit of history..." I said now with my arm wrapped around Zion's

"So y'all go together??" She asked

"Real bad..." both Zion and I said

We looked at each other in shock and started laughing. We calmed down and I looked at her.

"If y'all go together, how come Titus got a hold of you??" She asked

"It's a long story..." I said
"What time this starts baby??"

"Around 9:15..." Zion said

I nodded.

"Let's go find mom..." I said
"See y'all later..."

We walked back to see her sitting on the bench.

"You okay??" I asked sitting beside her

"Yeah, I'm fine Sweetie..." she said smiling

"Court don't start until like 9:15, you can go call Melody until it's time..." I said

"You prolly right. I'll be back..." she said tapping my leg before getting up

"I love their love..." I said as we sat in the bench

"Wonder how our love would be??" Zion asked

I scooted closer to her. I wrapped my arm around hers and intertwined my fingers with hers.

"I think our love will look like no one else's. A love that only we understand. A different love, a US love..."  I said looking at her

"You think so??" She asked

"I do..." I said

She grabbed my face and looked at me.

"I love you..." she said

"I love you too baby..." I said before she pulled me into a kiss

Before it got carried away, I pulled away, and she looked at me.

"Not here..." I said making her laugh

We sat and talked until it was time. Mom came back in and we went inside. Zion had to go stand by Terry and the rest. I wish she was sitting with me, but she gotta do her job. I sat with Kennedy, Jana, and Brit. I sat at the end that was closest to mom. We were sitting for a while before the inmates came in. They all walked in and the last two were Titus and Treasure. Soon as Treasure walked in she made eye contact with me. Just as fast as she made eye contact, she looked away.

"All rise..." I heard

We all stood up as the judge made her entry. Once she sat down, we all sat down, and it started.
