Mom and Melody said they had something to show us before we start unpacking the gifts from the baby shower. We have been buying baby things since I found out I was pregnant so we had a lot of baby stuff.
Zion had work this morning so we had to wait until she got off. She had gotten off at 5, and it was now 6:30. They pulled up, we jumped in the car, and we headed out.
"Why every time we see King, he's asleep??" Zion asked looking at him
"He got a bad sleeping schedule y'all. He be up all night then during the day he's sleeping. We gotta get that fixed tho cuz it's stressful having a toddler with a fucked up sleep schedule..." Melody said as Mom nodded agreeing
"He looks so adorable tho..." I said rubbing his cheeks and smiling
We were driving for like 30 minutes until I started asking questions.
"Where are we going??" I asked
"Just ride..." Mom said
"I wish y'all could've told me how long we were driving, I could've brought a snack or some. I haven't eaten since 1 some..." I said pouting
"We should prolly stop and get her some to eat..." Zion said rubbing my stomach
"We're going to be there in 10 minutes, can you survive until then??" Melody asked rubbing my knee
"I guess..." I said before looking out the window as Zion continued rubbing my belly
____ We pulled into the driveway of a beautiful house. They parked and got out. Zion grabbed King then we got out too. Melody grabbed King as we started walking down the sidewalk.
"This house is amazing..." I said looking around
"Y'all like it??" Mom asked looking at me and Zion
"Yes, it's very modern with a minimalist feel. I like it..." I said looking around
"I can agree baby. This is a beautiful big house. I love the brown..." Zion said

"What y'all buying another house??" I asked looking at them
"No..." they say
"What are we doing here??" I asked "Who house??"
Melody and Mom both held up a pair of keys each.
"This is y'all's new house..." Melody said as she and Mom dropped keys in Zion and my hands
"WHAT!!" I squealed making them smile
"Wait what??" Zion asked looking at them
"We've been planning to buy you guys a home since you got pregnant. It's been a long process and we're finally done..." Melody said
"It is furnished but you know y'all can change it if you like. It has 5 bedrooms one was turned into a nursery for baby boy. We left the nursery and y'all's room up for y'all to decorate..." Mom said
"Why??" I asked with tears in my eyes smiling
"It's a pre-push gift for you guys..." Mom said making me pout
"Stop pouting and crying. This house is yours. It's paid off so you don't have to worry about that..." Melody said smiling at us
I ran into their arms making them laugh.
"Thank y'all??" Zion said coming into the hug
"Y'all are welcome..." I heard Mom say before kissing my forehead
We hugged for a bit. I got myself together and we headed in. Zion used her key to open it and wow!!
"This looks bigger than it looks from the outside..." Zion said holding my hand as we looked around
The kitchen was beautiful. The black with gold interior was everything
"This beautiful..." I said smiling
We walked around more. It was 3 rooms downstairs. Those rooms were furnished and cute. We headed upstairs. When you got upstairs it had a lounge area. Down the hall, it was a bathroom with just a shower, not a tub. Then, the first room was the master bedroom with a big ass bathroom and a big ass walk-in closet.
"Damn Mom and Melody..." I said looking at them as they smiled
"How much was this house??" Zion asked
"Don't worry about it. Just know it's paid off and it's yours..." Melody said with her arms around Mom's waist
I smiled at them and Zion hugged them.
We continued and went to the last room of the house which was next to the master bedroom. It was a smaller room.
"This the room we were thinking of for the nursery. It's small, but yet has a lot of space..." Mom said
"What you think baby??" I asked looking at Zion
"Yes, our room will be right there so we won't be far. I like it..." Zion said while rubbing my stomach
I nodded as I looked in the closet. It was an amazing size for the clothes and things the baby have and things he'll be getting.
"I love it..." I said smiling
"Yeah, me too..." Zion said while hugging me from behind
