I will not be dumbfounded and blinded by love this time. I will not go through anymore pain, because of a lying ass cheating ass woman. I won't do it.

It was hard for me to quit that job cuz Mona was paying well. Also, I really enjoyed it. But I quit for myself. I won't keep putting myself in that predicament where I know I will get hurt. I can't be around her. She lied to me about fucking a Nigga, like come on.

Anyways, after threading to call the police she left. After, I grabbed my phone and texted Terry. I told him I needed a new job. He instantly called me.

"Hello..." I answered

"What happened to the security guard job??" He asked

"I quit..." I said

"Why??" He asked

"It wasn't for me anymore and I wasn't feeling it. So, I need some new..." I said

"Only think I have right now is a club security job..." he said

"I can do that..." I said

"It doesn't pay like you last job now..." he said

"I figured that. I just need a job..." I said

I don't necessarily need one now, but I'm just used to making money so I can't sit still. I have to work.

"I'll see what they say and I'll get back to you..." he said

"Alright man..." I said before we hung up

I was sitting on my couch debating if I had the courage to finish watching this scary movie Milan and I was watching on Netflix. She's the only person who can get me to watch scary movies honestly. After debating I decided against it. But, I did decided to go to Ozzie's cuz why not. I took a shower this morning, so I found me some to put on and I left out. I drove to Ozzie's while listening to music. I finally made it and got out.

"Welcome to Ozzie's..." Ozzie said before he looked up
"HEY!!"

He came around the counter to hug me.

"Hey..." I said before we let each other go

"What you doing here??" He asked

"I can't come hang around and eat wings??" I asked

"Yeah, you know you always can. It's early in the day, I thought maybe you'll be at work..." he said

"Nah, not today..." I said

"Where's your girlfriend??" He asked going back around to finish wings he was making

"I don't have a girlfriend..." I said

"The young girl who was here last time. What's her name..." he said snapping trying to remember
"Mi-umm, Milan. Yeah Milan..."

I rolled my eyes just thinking about her.

"Trouble in paradise??" He asked looking at me

"Don't wanna talk about her right now..." I said

"Talk about who??" So asked as they all walked in

"Milan, the girl she brought last time..." Ozzie said

"Ughhhh..." I groaned

"Well Damn..." Lo said
"Let's not talk about it..."

"Thanks..." I said looking at Lo

"How many wings you want Zingman??" Ozzie asked

"10 please..." I said

"So, what's been up with you Zion??" Pluto asked as he sat down

"I quit my security job today so Terry is finding me another..." I said

"Why you quit??" He asked

"It was too much for me right now..." I said

He nodded in understanding.

We continued talking as Ozzie cooked and talked shit as he always does.

"Zion have you talked to any of your family??" Ozzie asked

"After what happened I never been back there. I moved and ain't look back their way..." I said honestly

When my parents died, they used to do me so bad. Talk down on me cuz of me begin intersex. Even worse, I like girls. I was at my lowest and they ruined me. I tried, tried, and tried to forgive them and put it behind me. I couldn't tho, they ruined me and it was no coming back from it. I left and haven't been back since. Honestly, I was never planing on going back.

"Well I'm happy you found happiness cuz I seen how they had you and didn't like it..." he said

Ozzie was always there when I needed someone to talk to or comfort me. He's been better family to them my own blood family. Ozzie will always be my family.

We continued to talk, I was eating, and just chilling. I didn't have shit else to do. Hanging out with them really kept my mind off Milan.

Like I was falling for her and I loved begin around her. But I wouldn't dare put myself through anything else with a woman. I was always told to believe who a person show you who they are the first time. And by begin hurt so much, I will always live by that. I refused to get hurt again.

After been there for a while, it was time for me to head home. I got home, took a shower, and got in bed.

3 days later

Today was my first day working security for the club. A night job wasn't for me, but that's all was available right now. I've been resting up all day so I should be good.

I just finishing putting on my suit and was ready to head out. I swiped open my phone and a memory of Milan and I off Snapchat popped up. I slid it off my screen to look at the time. It was 7:20 and I had to be at the club at 8. I finished getting myself together and I headed out.

I got there, the boss ran me over the club, and what to do. The job seemed fairly easy so I was cool.

They started letting people in, I was checking the for guns, and shit. It was chill. A group of girl came through and I went to check them.

"Zion, right??" I heard one girl asked

I looked up and seen that girl that I seen when I was with Milan.

"Oh hey..." I said giving her a small smile

"You know, you never used that number..." she said looking at me

"Honestly, I forgot..." I said

"Well how about you let me get your number and I'll text you. This so you can't forget about me..." she said

"How about you come find me at the end of the night and I'll just might give it to you..." I said licking my lips

"I will definitely make it my mission to come find your sexy ass..." she said smiling at me before walking off

"Mannnn I need that type of charm. I've been working at this club for a year and hasn't had this many woman be all over me like they do you..." I heard the other security guard say

I laughed a lil.

"These girl just want a quick fuck..." I said

"I want that too..." he said making me laugh

We talked for a bit. His name is Dee and he's cool as hell.
