After telling Milan we were thinking about going back to the beach house she's been silent. At one point, I thought she was going to cry.

We weren't trying to upset her or make her sad. I can tell she was sad and upset cuz she didn't even eat all her food, the majority of the time she was picking at it. Zion was tryna make jokes to lighten up her mood, it worked for the time begin but it didn't last long.

Mona was tryna read her. Read her body language to see exactly what she was feeling. She wasn't looking up at us at all. She was either looking outside, down at her plate, or her drink. She was doing that cuz if I look in her eyes I can't tell what she's feeling. I've been able to do that since she was a little girl.

I looked at her for a moment before tapping her leg. She looked at me. I looked into her eyes and all I can see is hurt and sadness. Tears started to fill her eyes.

"Let me out..." she said softly to Zion

Zion stood up and let her out. She was heading behind her, but I told her I had it. Mona let me out and I went into the restroom. She was standing by the sink crying. I walked up to her and held her. I rubbed her back as she cry onto my shoulder.

After she was done, I grabbed some paper towels and dabbed her face so she wouldn't mess up her makeup.

"What's hurting you??" I asked

"Mom has never been with me when I'm going through a milestone in my life. Graduation, birthdays, or important events. I wanted her to be here with me through the pregnancy at least. But y'all are leaving. I just wanna experienced her being here and me knowing that she's at least close. I call she'll be there in minutes not hours or even a day..." she said as more tears fell down her face

I genuinely understood where she was coming from. I've experienced everything with her and her mom firsthand. Her mom has been a workaholic and it put a strain on their relationship. It even put one on our marriage, we had to go to counseling to fix things. So, I get what she was saying.

"Would you like for us to stay until after you give birth??" I asked looking at her

"I would love y'all to, but I don't wanna seem selfish..." she said as I dabbed her face

"You're not being selfish for wanting to experience your first pregnancy with your mom..." I said

"Okay..." she said softly

"Now stop crying..." I said making her laugh a lil

She sniffed as she fixed her makeup a bit.

"Let's go..." I said linking my arm with hers

We watched out of the bathroom and back to the table. She sat on the outside and so did I.

"You okay??" Zion asked looking at her

"Yes..." Milan said smiling

Zion had got Milan a to-go plate cuz she didn't want her food at the moment.

"Can I get ice cream tonight??" Milan asked looking at Zion

"You had ice cream today..." Zion said

"Okay and I want more..." Milan said

"Okay, we can go get some..." Zion said giving in

"I see you've learned..." Baby said to Zion

"Terry already put me up on game..." Zion says making Baby and I laugh

We sat and talked for a while before they were ready to go. We hugged then we went our separate ways.

"Sooo, I talked to Milan and I think it's best if we stay here until after she has the baby..." I said looking at her

"Why the change of heart??" She asked

"She wants to experience this with you. You've missed important things in her life, she just needs you here with her. And I honestly think you should, we should. This is something big and she wants to share it with you..." I said

She grabbed my hand that was on her thigh while nodding.

"Okay..." she said softly

"I love you..." I said kissing the back of her hand

"I love you too..." she says smiling at me

After dinner, we headed to Lala's Ice Cream Parlor. This was our favorite ice cream place to come to. What like about them is they don't close until midnight. One time around 11 at night, we were in the house for the night. But I started craving ice cream BAD. Zion had to rush here to get my ice cream before they closed.

Anyways, we got there then we went in.

"Welcome to Lala's Ice Cream Parlor..." I heard making me smile

I was looking at different flavors.

"Can you mix it??" I asked looking at the girl

"Yes ma'am, you can..." she said nodding

"You getting any baby??" I asked looking at her

"Nah, I'm good. Get you and my baby whatever y'all need..." she said rubbing my belly making me smile

"So I want 3. The first cup with just 2 scoops of banana pudding. Second cup 2 scoops of Neapolitan. Last cup 1 scoop of banana pudding on top and 1 scoop of strawberry on the bottom..." I said

"Baby..." Zion said

"Just one for the night. The other ones of for tomar or the next day..." I said making her nod

I got my ice cream, Zion paid, and we headed home. Once we got home, I stripped until I was left in my panties then I got in bed. Zion brought me my ice cream with a spoon.

"Thank you, baby..." I said smiling

"Anything for you..." she said before kissing me

While eating my ice cream, she put more drinks in my mini fridge. Some water, Gatorade, and sparkling water. She brought some fruit in too. Once she was done with that she hung my dress up and started stripping down to her underwear and sports bra. She got in bed and I put my spoon up to her mouth.

"I told you I was good baby. Long as you got some..." she said laying on my lap facing my belly

She kissed my belly while rubbing it.

"Can't wait until I meet you..." she said making me smile
"Just know I love you and you're already spoiled. Got me wrapped around your finger and you ain't even made it yet. I love you..."

She kissed my belly again before moving closer and laying close to my belly. I ate my ice cream as she rubbed my body and talked to me.

After eating my ice cream, she threw away my trash, she ended up giving me head then we called it a night.
