Next Morning

I woke up to my phone ringing. I grabbed it off the nightstand and seen it was my mom.

"Hello..." I answered

"Good Morning sweetie..." she said

"Good Morning..." I said

"We came by to bring you a lil groceries, where are you??" She asked

"Last night Titus and a few people was picking at the locks at the hotel. I didn't feel safe so I came to Zion's house..." I said

"So Titus is out the hospital but not in jail..." she said

"He actually just left he wasn't release or healed. They didn't even know he left. Well that's what they say..." I said

"Why you didn't call me??" She asked

"I don't know. It was late and I just came
here..." I said

"Send me your location..." she said

"Okay..." I said

I sent her my location and I got up. I slipped on my pants and went to the bathroom. I did what I needed. Once I was done, I went into her closet to grab a toothbrush and a towel. I washed my face using the face wash I put her on, and brush my teeth. After, I went to the front and Zion was knocked out. I really didn't want to wake her up at all, but Mom and Melody was coming.

"Zion..." I said shaking her a lil bit

She looked up at me.

"What's wrong??" She asked and started to jump up

"No, no. It's nothing..." I said touching her to slow her down from jumping up

"You good??" She asked

"Yes, I'm fine. I was tryna get you to go lay in the bed. Mom and Melody was coming through..." I said

"I need to get up and put clothes on then..." she said

"No, you should get some sleep. You was up all night..." I said

"I'm fine, I'm up now..." she said

"Zion, you need some sleep..." I said

"I'm go—..." she start

"Zion!!" I slightly yelled

"Okay fine..." she said

"If I cook something, I'll wake you up..." I told her as she grabbed her blanket

"Okay..." she said going into the room

She went straight to the room and jumped in the bed.

After I started fixing up the couches. Like 20 minutes later, I heard car door close. I looked out the window and seen it was them. I went to the door and opened it. They walked in, well Mom did. Melody waddled in.

"I see that pregnancy walk coming in..." I said smiling

"Unfortunately yes..." she said sitting down and letting out a sigh

"What's wrong??" I asked closing the door and going to sit beside her

"My back been killing me since last night..." she said softly

"Awww, sorry..." I said rubbing her arm

"The doctor told us to go shopping for her some pillows..." Mom said

"Mmhmmm..." I said while nodding

"Where's Zion??" Mom asked

"I told her to go get in bed cuz she was up all night..." I said

"She was worried, huh??" Melody asked

"Yes. She was yelling at her boss and all..." I said

"She just wanna protect you Honey..." Melody said grabbing my hand

"I know..." I said softly laying on her shoulder

"So what are you going to be staying at. Cuz you know you can always come with us..." Mom said looking at me

"Well Zion told me that I was staying here until thing blows over..." I said

Mom smiled.

"Did she give you a choice??" Mom asked

"Not at all..." I said and we all laughed

"Well since you'll be here, here's the groceries I bought for you..." she said pointing to the bags

"Thank you Mom..." I said lifting off Melody's shoulder

"You're welcome Sweetie..." she said

I grabbed the bags and took them into the kitchen. I put the things up and decided why not cook breakfast for everybody. Mom brung breakfast things and Zion had the rest.

I went back to the front to see them hugged up on the couch.

"Do y'all wanna stay for breakfast??" I asked

Mom looked back at me.

"We actually do..." Mom said

"We skipped breakfast this morning..." Melody said

"Why did y'all skip breakfast??" I asked

"Stay out of grown people business..." Mom said while her and Melody laughed

"Ewwww..." I said shaking my head and they laughed harder

"Well I'm bout to start. Zion left the remote on the table so watch what you want..." I told them

"Okay Honey..." I heard Melody said

I went back into the kitchen and start unthawing the bacon. I went into her fridge and looked for the things I needed.

When I first stayed at this house she didn't have any type of dairy-free ingredients. Now her fridge if full off them. I smiled cuz I seen she bettered her diet. Which is a very good thing.

I started cooking in like a hour or so I was done. I told Mom and Melody to go to the table. I went to the room to wake up Zion. I went in and she was laying on top of the covers. Because she was on top of the covers, I seen everything, and she had morning wood. I overlooked up and went to wake her up.

I shook her a lil. She mumbled something and nodded her head. I chuckled and continued shaking her.

"Zion, get up..." I said

She opened her eyes and closed then back.

"I'm done cooking. Come eat..." I said

"Okay..." she said in her sleepy

She slowly got up while rubbing her eyes.

"Mom and Melody are here so get yourself together before coming out..." I said

She looked at me confused.

I pointed to her morning wood. She looked down then grabbed a pillow and put it ova it. I laughed and left out the room.

I went back to the kitchen to see Mom and Melody sitting at the kitchen table. I went to the kitchen and started fixing their plates. After I fixed their plates, drinks, and everything Zion came out.

"GoodMorning..." Zion said coming into the kitchen

"Morning..." Mom said eating

"Good Morning Zion..." Melody said drinking some apple juice

Zion grabbed a plate making me look at her.

"I got it..." I said looking at her

"You sure??" She asked

"Yeah, I'll bring it to the table..." I said and she nodded

She went to the table and sat at the end by Mom. I fixed her plate cuz I made her egg with no cheese. I fixed her plate, fixed her drink, and took it to her.

"Thank you..." she said looking at me

"You're welcome..." I said giving her a small smile

I finally fixed my plate, some to drink, and sat down.
