The officers put me in the car as the ambulance pulled up and more police pulled up. They instantly put Zion on the stretcher. They took her and left. The other officer got into the car. It was quiet as my mind ran wild.

"I'm sorry..." I heard

"What??" I asked confused as to why she was sorry

"I'm sorry for her. Lately she's been on 10 and it's crazy. We did get the call, but she went about it in the wrong way..." she said

"Why is she acting like that? That's not okay..." I said

"I really can't tell you. But what I can tell you is that I witnessed everything and I gotchu..." she said

She pointed out the window at the Uber lady.

"That's my sister, she's a lawyer. We've been trying to get her ass out and tonight was very evidential. Of course, on top of a few more cases..." she said

"Thank you..." I said gratefully

"You're welcome hun..." she said
"My name is Sonya by the way..."

"Milan..." I said and she nodded
"Do you know what hospital my girlfriend is headed to??"

"Grady University Hospital..." she said

"One more question..." I said

She laughed a little.

"Lay it on me..." she said

"Is it possible for me to get a phone call when I get there. I need to call somebody so they can be here to see if she's okay and look after her..." I said

"When we get there, I promise I will see what I can do..." she said and I nodded

After a while, the other one got in the car.

"You ready to go??" She asked looking at me

I just looked at her without saying anything.

"Ohhhh, now you quiet..." she said

"Don't you think you should leave her
alone??" Sonya said to her
"Rae, It's been a long night. We all need to wind down , so let's go..."

Rea started the car and we left out. I let out a deep breath, slumped down in the seat, while looking outside. All my mind was thinking about was Zion. I hated this shit. All this happen cuz the Bitch was being a fucking weirdo. Now my baby, is at the hospital and I can't be there cuz I'm on the way to jail.

It took us a minute to get to the jail cuz the bitch was driving slow as molasses. Like hoe speed up.

Anyways we finally got to the jailhouse. We went in through the back. Sonya got me out and took me through the back door. Once I was in there, she removed the handcuffs.

"Come with me..." she said

I followed behind her and she took me into this little office. I sat in the seat beside the desk and she sat behind the desk, after shutting her door.

"I'll be the one to book you. I don't feel comfortable letting you be with her alone..." she said

"Yeah, I Understand..." I said nodding

"So let's get started..." she said

It didn't take her long to get my information, she put into the system.

"Am I going to get my call??" I asked looking at her

"Yeah..." she said

She lead me to the side of her office where the phone was.
