We made it to Melody's a few hours ago. Zion was in the room sleeping cuz she didn't sleep on the plane. I was sitting in the front room with Melody. King was in his room sleeping and we were watching him on the baby monitor. Mom was at work, but she was going to be off soon.

"This new short hair makes you look so grown..." Melody said looking at me smiling

"It does. Zion loves it..." I said smiling

"So how's everything been?? She asked

"Everything has been great. Zion and I are doing amazing. I'm happy where I am. I have lovely people around me and my birthday is coming up. I can't ask for a better life..." I said smiling

"I'm so happy you are doing well. I love seeing you happy..." she said hugging me

"How have things have been with y'all??" I asked

"Everything is good. Love seeing you and King grow with my love. She's been an amazing help and I can't imagine it no other way..." she said

"Love to hear it..." I said smiling

We were talking when Mom walked in.

"Heyyyy sweetie..." she said as I ran to her and hugged her

"Mom I missed you..." I said hugging her tight

"How have you been??" she asked as we pulled away

"Great..." I said smiling

"You look much older with short hair..." she said touching my hair

"So I've been told..." I said smiling

"I love this on you..." she said smiling at me

"Thanks..." I said

"Where's Zion??" she asked looking around

"She is taking a nap..." I said as we made it to the living room

"Hey, Honey..." Mom said bending down and pecking Melody's lip
"King is napping??"

"Yes, he is..." Melody said kissing Mom's lips again

She sat down between us.

" What was y'all talking about??" Mom asked

"Just catching up..." I said

"What's for dinner??" Mom asked looking at Melody

"You're hungry??" Melody asked rubbing Mom's stomach

"Real bad..." Mom said making me laugh

"What you want baby??" Melody asked mom

"Philly Cheesesteak and some good ole
fries..." Mom said

"Oh, god Mom..." I said falling back on the couch

"What??" She asked as they looked at me

"That sounds so good..." I said and we laughed

"Looks like I need to go to the grocery store..." Melody said getting up

"I'll go with you..." Mom said getting up behind her

"Y'all gone leave me alone with a sleeping baby and my sleeping girlfriend??" I asked looking at them

"You'll be alright. We won't be long..." Mom said

Mom grabbed her keys and they left.

I was sitting on the couch fighting the urge to go wake Zion up. After a while, I grabbed the remote off the other end of the couch and laid across it. I cut the tv on and strolled until I found Martin. I was watching it when a commercial came on.
