Once Milan was inside, I got back in the truck, started it, and headed back home. Once I made it home, I stripped, and got back in bed. While laying down, I started to miss her already. Why I wanted to cuddle😩

After like a hour, I finally was able to sleep.

I heard my alarm go off. I turned it off and turned around in the bed. I stretched out and lifted up. I looked at Milan's side. I threw my head down and groaned. It's going to be a long week without my baby.

I finally pulled myself out the bed and headed to the bathroom. I put mouthwash in my mouth cuz I brushed my teeth before I took Milan to the airport. After I spit it out, I went to the room, and started putting on my uniform. Milan laid it out and ironed it last night. Shid, she iron them for the whole week.

After I put my uniform on, I took my hair out the loc bonnet, sprayed them, moisturised them, then put them up. I slipped on my shoes. Put on my police belt then sprayed on my work cologne. I grabbed my things and headed to the police truck. I got in and my phone started ringing. I pulled outta my pocket and it was Milan. I answered it with a smile on my face. When she answered her smile was bigger than mine.

"Morning baby..." I said putting my phone up

"Good Morning, you look good..." she said looking at me

"I mean we knew that already..." I said and she gave me a stank face

We laughed as she dropped her phone. She picked it up.

"Where are you??" I asked

"Waiting on the taxi to take me to the hotel. I didn't get any sleep on the plane..." she said

"Why not??" I asked pulling out the driveway

"It was the big ole Santa Clause looking son of a bitch sitting beside me snoring..." she said as I laughed
"Then it was this woman beside me and her baby was making all types of noise. I was listening to music, but that wasn't even helping..."

She was pouting.

"My poor baby going through it already..." I said pouting with her

I had to pick up one of my coworkers cuz his police truck was getting fixed. While I was riding to get him, Milan was on her way to the hotel. Like 20 minutes later, she made her way inside the hotel and I pulled into his driveway. He headed out before kissing his wife. I waved at her as he got in. I dapped him up as Milan made her way to her room.

"This bitch act like I don't know what I'm talm bout. I'm showing you proof..." she said rolling her eyes

"Baby don't got to jail down there. I'm not there to keep you calm..." I said

"I know. I wish you was here so you can give me some di—..."

"MILAN!!" I yelled and Tyler laughed

She looked at the phone with a stank face.

"Why you yelling at me??" She asked me

"Cuz somebody in the truck with me..." I said

"Oh..." she said laughing
"My bad..."

We talked for a few before she was ready to lay down and I was heading to work.

"I love you..." she said looking at me

"I love you too baby. And I'll call you later" I said before we hung up

"So that's Milan??" He asked

"Yeah that's her..." I said

"Man, you get the best jobs on the force..." he said and I laughed

"Why you say that??" I asked him

"Nigga you went to go secure a girl. Not only did you secure, nigga you bagged her too. Nun of us will every have that type of experience, but you did..." he said

"Well, it may look good. But it was hell getting to this point..." I said

"I doubt it..." he said

"Anytime you bag a bad bitch it comes with some shit. Take it from me..." I said

We pulled into the station parking lot, I parked, and we got out. We walked in and everybody spoke. I walked to the back, did what I needed to, and headed back to the front. Terry came around the corner.

"What you doing here??" Terry asked

"Working..." I said looking at him confused

"I thought you asked for this week off and going out of town with Milan..." he said

"I did, but it was denied. She ended up going by herself tho..." I said

"By who??" He asked

"Mr. Clyde..." I said

"Why??" He asked

"I don't know. You know I don't question them people..." I said

"I'll go talk to him later cuz you should be with her outta town..." he said

"Thanks..." I said shaking his hand

"No problem..." he said as I have him a side hug

I went to see what was the business today. We didn't have much which meant I was going to be patrolling today. I made sure that's what I was going be doing before leaving. I left out and started riding around just patrolling. I stopped and got me some breakfast. I posted up by the highway and started eating. It wasn't shit going on. I really wanted to call Milan, but I was going to let her sleep.

After a few minutes, she called me. I answered and she had a pout on her face.

"What's wrong baby??" I asked

"I woke up and you wasn't in bed with me. I can't do this..." she said throwing herself back on the bed

"Come on, it's not that bad..." I said

"So you don't miss me??" She asked

"I do baby..." I said

"Exactly, I'm dying ova here. I'm bout to book a flight back home..." she said

I chuckled and shook my head.

"Baby you gotta stay for your photoshoot. You've been working hard towards this..." I told her

"I know. I just miss you..." she said softly

"We ain't even been away from each other 24 hours..." I said and she stale faced me

She dropped the phone and it was just on the ceiling.

"Look, we'll be alright. We missed each other a lot, but you'll be home before you know it. Just have some you time..." I said

She still didn't get into the camera. After, a few seconds heard shifting and the side of her head appeared in the camera.

"I miss you just as much as you miss me. But, focus on your photoshoot and working towards what you need. I'm going to here when you coming back, I'm not going nowhere. I promise..." I said
"Okay??"

"Okay..." she said very low

"Huh??" I asked even tho I heard her

"Okay..." she says a bit louder

"Huh??" I asked again

"Okay..." a bit louder

"What??" I asked holding my ear up to the phone acting like I couldn't her

"OKAYYYY!!" She yelled

I smiled at her. She smiled and rolled her eyes at me.

"I love you..." I said

"I love you more..." she said still smiling
