"Okay so we decide that every month from the day we met we were going on a date. This month it was my turn and I've been so busy that I forgot. I didn't plan anything and it slipped my mind. Now she hasn't talked to me in 4 days..." she said
"Damn Lani..." I said
"I know. I don't know how I forgot tho. I had a whole day planned for us and I got busy and forgot..." she said
"Slut her out tonight and take her out tomar..." I said

"Call her boss and tell him to let her off tomar, it's a surprise for her, and she needs tomar off..." I said looking at her

She pulled out her phone and called up to Cam's job. They let her off and Lani was happy. We pulled up to the place, she parked, and we got out. We headed in the inside and was instantly seated. He gave us a menu and we started looking at the menu.
"Bottomless mimosas??" She asked looking at me with an raised brows
"Why the fuck not..." I said smiling
Like 5 minutes later, he came back took our orders. Within minutes out mimosas were coming out.
"Soooo??" She asked
"What??" I asked
"What's up with you??" She asked
"Nothing at all..." I said
"No love life, no sex life? Well I know sex life cuz you been having a glow to you..." she said
"How you figure my glow gotta do with sex??" I asked
"Cuz I know that sex glow. I got it when Cameron and I first had sex..." she said making me laugh
"I don't have a anything, I'm just happy..." I said smiling
"Alright just happy. I know somebody hitting right and I know who..." she said
"Who??" I asked
"Zion..." she said
"Ain't nobody fucking Zion..." I said laughing
"She's the only person that goes in and out your house. You don't hang with people..." she said
"Maybe I go to their house..." I said
"You don't go no where..." she said making me laugh
"Wherever Lani..." I said sipping my mimosa "We haven't talked in a min, what made you come back??"
"I wasn't feeling that scenery anymore and I missed home. I was done with school and I knew I did want to attend college. I was stable enough to move so I headed back. Thank god, you help me get a apartment..." she said
"I told you I gotchu..." I said smiling
They brung out our food and we got more mimosas. We were eating, laughing, and talking. We haven't hung out like this since high school and it felt good. I miss her when she left. Even tho we wasn't as close, I did miss her, and I'm happy she's back.
We was eating, continued talking, and steady drinking mimosas. We was sitting singing the music they were playing. Mimosas was steady coming out and we both was getting more tipsy. Well she was tipsy, I'm drunk. I'm lightweight when it comes to liquor. My phone lit up and I looked at it. It was Zion.

I put my phone back down while we continued drinking and singing. 45 minutes we left and to say we was fucked up was a understatement. We got in the car, got ourselves together, and Lani drove home. She let the windows down so she could focus. We finally made it, she parked, and we got out. We got on the elevator laughing and dancing. She got off on her floor and I stayed in. I took off my heels, pulled out my phone, and called Zion.
"Hello..." she answered
"Baby open the door..." I said as the elevator door open
She hung up and I seen the door open. Zion came to the door and she looked so good. I looked at her up and down. She grabbed me, pulled me in the house, and closed the door. She came back in front of me. I dropped my stuff, grabbed her face, and kissed her.
