Clingy

*Your P.O.V*

I work alongside Emily Prentiss, my girlfriend of 3 months, my love language is physical touch. One day, we had paperwork, lots of it. I took a quick break to get some more coffee, "I love Y/N. It's just.. sometimes.. she's clingy." My girlfriend told JJ and Penelope. I guess none of them noticed me, I walked back over to my desk and kept to myself for the rest of the day. At 8:30 I was done with my paperwork and was ready to leave, Emily had her own office, she had the door open, "I'm gonna go now.. love you," I said kissing her cheek, I never kiss her cheek. And, I always put I in front of "love you". "I love you too.. bye....?" She seemed confused as to why I changed those two things. I walk out to my car with Derek who was also done with paperwork. "Night Y/N" he said as I unlocked my car, "Night Derek" I smile. At 10 Emily sent me a good night text like she normally would, I left her on read. I only leave people on read if I'm mad or forget to respond. I go to sleep and the next morning, my day off, I'm awoken by my phone. It's Emily, is there a case? I think to myself, "Hello?" Y/N, are you okay?" My girlfriend asked over the phone, "Yeah.. I'm tired.." say check the time, 5 IN THE MORNING?!? "Why are you calling me, at FIVE A.M????" I question, "Just uh.. checking up on you.." "At FIVE in the fricken morning?!" "Yes..?" She regrets waking me up. I can tell. "I'll um.. let you get back to your sleep..bye I love you..." she said, lowkey fearing for her life, "Bye, love you too" I hang up, still didn't say I so, there's that. I fall back asleep and rise at 12, I love sleep. I go to Starbucks for a refresher, and watch Grey's Anatomy all day. I had work the next day.

*Emily's P.O.V*

At 7:30 Y/N came in for work, after about five minutes of her being there Penelope announced that we had a case. We did our briefing and then it was wheels up. On the jet we discussed more, trying to get a better idea of who we're looking for. The case was in Kentucky, spree robberies that became deadly. At 1:30 A.M we decided to get rest, Y/N and I obviously shared a room. She's seemed less peppy, even with the job she'd always been a positive person. Y/N was playing word games on her phone, "Babe, are you okay?" I asked, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" She asked, "Well.. you've been pretty distant and just not really yourself.." I said, "Is that not what you wanted?" She questioned. Crapppp. "You heard me talking to Pen and JJ didn't you...?" I feel bad. "Bingo." "Y/N I'm so, so, sorry." I apologized. "Why didn't you just tell me?" She inquired, "I didn't want to hurt your feelings.. clearly I failed at that." "Yeahhh... you did." "I realize that I like your clingy-ness.. it's comforting and I think it's cute" I say kissing Y/N, she kisses back, "I love you" I tell her, "I love you too. Come cuddle with me!!!" She responded, I laugh at her silliness, "Yes Ma'am" I jokingly salute. She kisses me again, I missed this.
