You were 11 year old Y/N Reid and you had just gotten your first period. You knew some of your friend that had already gotten it. But, I'm fifth grade it's not really something you talk about because most girls were embarrassed, and that included you. Your mom left when you were little so you had to tell your dad that you got it. It was a Saturday and your dad was working on his laptop in his office at home. You entered the office, "Dad, I- I got my period.." your doctor told you that it was going to happen soon so you already had products. "Do you feel okay?" He asked, "Y- yeah.. it's just weird" you shrugged. "Are you embarrassed of it?" He questioned, you nodded you head yes. "Come here" he said taking your hands and you walked closer, "There is nothing to be embarrassed of. This is completely normal, and healthy." "Yeah, but you're a guy, so you don't get it" you responded, "I can ask JJ, and Emily, and Penelope, do you want me to do that?" "Nope! I'm good! Bye dad!" You said running out his office, Reid chuckled to himself, "And that is how you raise a child" .
