At the end of the moon, You begin to prepare for the day ahead. Seraphine manifests at your side, speaking all the while.
Seraphine: Off to the Alliance for a major battle for the first time since the war began... It's going to be interesting returning there after so long. I don't even remember the last time we were there.
You say that the last major battle You remember in the Alliance was fighting the Canis Mafia.
Seraphine: We don't hear much of them anymore, do we? I suppose the organization must have fallen apart in the last five years... If you ask me, that's for the best. We've seen more than enough of the damage they can cause already, and nobody deserves that.
You nod before saying that You heard a few of the old members of the group used to come in and out of the building You are preparing to attack.
Seraphine: That's rather odd, isn't it? What could they want with a building so far from their territory? I thought they would have wanted to stay in the place where they had the most power... Though I suppose a lot has happened in the last five years that we don't understand yet.
You say that You are going to find out what role this building is meant to play whenever You arrive.
Seraphine: I suppose so... We should go and see what the others have to say about all of this.
You head to the cardinals' room and find the other members of your core force waiting for You.
Adrian: Alright... It seems everything is in order. We can leave whenever the rest of you are ready.
Herwig: I think it would be for the best if we got this over with as soon as possible. We have a lot to do, after all, so we can't linger on this for too long.
Jill: I still have a strange feeling about this... Though I'm hoping that I'm being paranoid over nothing.
Niko: What do you think is going to be waiting for us when we get there? I don't think I've seen you this worried in a while.
Jill: I'm not sure... But the rumors of the Canis Mafia having once taken this place over ages ago don't sit well with me.
Reese: The group has seemingly vanished from Leicester in the last few years. I don't think we have anything to worry about.
Nesreen: But we're not going to know for sure until we go there and scout it out for ourselves, so we should get to it.
Cordelia: Even if there are a few lingering fighters from that time, we're going to be able to eliminate them. We're more than strong enough.
Roy: Of course. Lady Aisa, whenever you're ready, all you need to do is give us the signal and we'll be off.
Aisa: In that case, I believe the time has come. We march for Leicester at once and fight to secure our alliance.
You nod and follow the other members of the group out of the cardinals' room and in the direction of the monastery's exit. As You walk, Seraphine speaks to You once more.
Seraphine: Everything truly has changed since Aisa opened up about her past... You can see it on everyone's faces. They're much happier and lighter than they ever were before. It's a relief given how upset everyone has been as of late.
You nod, glad that the darkness finally seems to be parting.
Seraphine: Though it seems as if we'll have to wait a bit longer to see for sure if the shadows will dissipate forever... I hope we don't run into any other members of the Canis group while we're out today. I want nothing to do with any of them... I suppose we'll just have to wait and see though.
