At the end of the moon, You rise from your slumber and begin to prepare for the battle that day. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.

Seraphine: I wonder who we can expect to run into during this battle... I'm a bit concerned about where this could take us honestly.

You tell her that You want to give the battle everything You have even though You do not understand much of anything about the current situation.

Seraphine: It's not that we have much of a choice... Fine. Let's go and see what the others are up to. Maybe one of them will have something of note to share with us.

You nod, and You go down to the entrance of the monastery from there. The leaders of the army are there waiting for You, and You greet them with an uneasy smile on your face.

Raithius: I guess this is it then... We're not sure about where this is going to take us or what to expect at the end of this, but we still have to see it through.

Magnolia: I know you were looking into this quite a bit before you met up with everyone here... But you never quite found the truth that would tell you what was going on.

Raithius: I'm afraid not. The details were always just out of reach, and I didn't know how to reach out and find the truth. It was hidden just too well.

Chris: I'm afraid I don't know anything on the subject either. I've been focused on trying to stop Argades lately, and I don't think I'd be able to spare the time to look into what was happening in the Alliance.

Eli: And no one can hold that against you. There was a lot going on at the time... But now, we can find the truth together.

Raithius: I would be lying if I said I was happy with this. I'm honestly afraid of what we're going to run into at the end of this.

Cordelia: I can't blame you in the slightest... Let's just go and take care of this. We still have a lot to handle going forward, and we need to be ready for it.

Aisa: I am with you. Let us see where this takes us... And pray that it goes well.

You leave the monastery from there, and You march on the stronghold that You have heard is the current hub for your opponent of the day. The fortress is close to Derdriu, and that fact is enough to leave You beyond unsettled. The person responsible for Malice influences in Leicester is intent on trying to take control over the capital, and if You do not stop them as soon as possible, then they will succeed. You shake the thought off as You come to a stop near the fortress, a frown on your face all the while.

Raithius: It looks to me like we just managed to get here in time... I was a bit worried they would have already tried to attack the capital, but we're here.

Magnolia: I don't see anyone of note here... At least not yet. In fact, I can't see a single person at all.

Raithius: They're waiting for us to attack them... I'm sure they know we're here. I don't know what to expect from this, but we can't give them the chance to counterattack and hit us first. Come on. Let's get to it.

You nod hesitantly, though You are admittedly uncertain about what to expect. You fall into your position and keep your eyes locked on the fortress. There are no soldiers on the field, but You know it is just a matter of time before they all come streaming out to greet You in combat.

When the battle begins in full, the soldiers make themselves known in an explosion of steel. As the enemy forces fall into place, the following dialogue plays out.
