You are sitting in your room one morning, enjoying the quiet as much as You can. There is little time for You to spend on your own these days with the demands of the war closing in from all sides. The end is drawing near, and while You are looking forward to it, You find yourself a bit overwhelmed by all of the work and excitement that comes with it. In the silence, Seraphine manifests before You.

Seraphine: Professor?

You ask what is wrong.

Seraphine: I hope you don't mind me saying this, but... There's something I want to go do today.

You ask what she means.

Seraphine: We... We've learned a lot lately about where we come from. Between Samiya revealing... You know... And me finally showing myself to everyone... I suppose I want a bit more information about my past. We haven't really had the time to investigate it, but now seems like as good a chance as any.

You nod, saying that You have the day to yourself if she would like to do that.

Seraphine: I hope this isn't too much of a bother. I mean, we don't get chances like this often, and I feel bad asking you to spend it on something you may not even particularly want to do, but...

You tell her that You will have the best chances of finding the truth as long as You are still with the rest of the army where they can support You.

Seraphine: That's what I was thinking too. I thought it would be best if we had the help of the rest of the army since we probably won't have that advantage for too much longer. Once the war ends... Everyone will probably end up going their separate ways.

You nod and say that You can go and ask for people to come with You on the expedition.

Seraphine: I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to go off on our own given everything that's been going on... Alright. Let's see who we can find.

You move for the door, but You are cut off by a knock just outside. You wonder who that could be before You open it to see Rowan.

Rowan: Ah, Professor... H-Hello.

You ask what they need.

Rowan: Well... It's not necessarily about me, but...

Arie appears beside Rowan.

Arie: It's about me. You can say that.

Rowan: Yes, I... I suppose it is.

You look back and forth between them before asking what they have come for.

Arie: Lately, both of us have found ourselves curious about my origins. We haven't been given much of a chance to investigate because of the war being a much more pressing matter, but...

Rowan: Everything is finally slowing down enough for us to think about it, and I want to learn more. Well, it was Arie's idea initially, but...

Arie: The more we both think about it, the more we want to do it. And since you're the only other person who understands the situation...

Seraphine: You want us to help you.

Rowan: I-I do hope this isn't too much trouble... The last thing I want is for you to feel like you need to come with us. That's not the case. If you would rather stay here, then–

You shake your head and say that You would be happy to join them.

Seraphine: As a matter of fact, I would say this is happening with perfect timing. Just a few minutes ago, we were thinking of going out for a little investigation of our own.
