At the end of the moon, You awaken from your slumber and begin to prepare for the events of the day. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.
Seraphine: This is it then... If all goes well, this should be the end of the war. All we need to do is get rid of Samiya and Tagusol, and everything will fall into place.
You nod, saying that You hope it goes as well as You have been thinking.
Seraphine: We won't know for certain until after we go to investigate... So let's go see what the others have to say.
You make your way up to the front of the monastery, and You find the rest of your allies there waiting for You. They all seem just as anxious as You, and You hope they are all ready. You ask them as much when You settle in among them.
Cordelia: We should be ready to leave now... Assuming our information is correct, we know exactly where Samiya and Tagusol are and what to do about them.
Aisa: I cannot imagine they will have moved too far from where we heard they would be... Especially if they plan on assuring one another's destruction.
Chris: I'm glad their alliance was every bit as flimsy as we thought it would be. It's going to make this next part much easier for all of us.
You nod and say that You are ready for this no matter what it may mean for You.
Magnolia: I'm not going to let anyone get away with stopping us now. We've come too far for something like that.
Raithius: Then let's get going. We don't have a moment to spare, especially if we want to finish this as soon as possible.
Eli: If we take too long, we could end up failing to see this through because they destroy each other before we arrive... We can't let that happen. Come on.
You set out from the monastery, and You begin the long journey to find Samiya and Tagusol. You remain hazy and unfocused the entire way to your destination. You do not know how to feel about the circumstances at hand, especially since they will likely end with You having to bid farewell to your allies. You know that this must be done eventually though, and now, You finally have a chance to finish it. You must be ready no matter what that means.
When You arrive at your destination, You look around for any traces of Samiya and Tagusol in the area. You find nothing, at least not immediately, but You know they must be around there somewhere. The battlefield is shrouded in fog, and You can only assume your two foes are waiting in the mist. They must know that You are coming, and they are waiting for the right moment to lash out.
Chris: It's not going to be easy to see much of anything through fog this thick... But we can use it to our advantage too if we focus.
Cordelia: Samiya and Tagusol are going to be lunging for each other too. We can start off by clearing out their forces but letting them destroy each other as well.
Aisa: I agree. It would be much safer for us to clear out their allies before we engage with them specifically.
Raithius: They're probably hiding at the back corners of the battlefield waiting for us to come for them... They know we're going to start a fight. They have to know.
Magnolia: If they want to play the waiting game, then we'll just have to give them the same courtesy. Let's see how long they last and go from there.
Eli: Once one side begins to suffer losses, the other will gain morale and strength. We need to do our best to keep them in balance so that strength doesn't end up turned against us.
