At the end of the moon, You awaken from your slumber and begin to prepare for the battle ahead. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.

Seraphine: This is it... I don't think Evenor will be running away from us again after this. She has to know there's no escape.

You say that You are certain she knows it as well, but You are still unsure as to how she is going to respond to it.

Seraphine: I don't know either... I just hope we can find a way to make this all right.

You nod and promise that You will do everything in your power to see her defeated before the sun goes down.

Seraphine: I know... And if anyone can do this, I trust it to be you.

You smile weakly and start to make your way up to the front of the monastery. You speak with the rest of your allies there and ask if they are ready to start the charge to find Evenor.

Cordelia: We are... I checked one last time just to make sure I knew what to expect when we saw Evenor again. I don't want her to end up running out on us when we finally have the chance to stop her.

You ask what the verdict is.

Raithius: She's exactly where we thought she would be. In other words, she has made no efforts to try and run away from us. She knows we're coming, and she's not trying to fight anymore.

You nod, glad to hear it but worried about it all the same.

Magnolia: She may have given up hope, but we don't have the luxury. We need to do everything we can to end this as soon as possible.

Chris: Everything is ready for us to depart from the monastery. We need to go as soon as possible before she gets any bright ideas about leaving.

Aisa: Something tells me she will not be taking us up on the opportunity to depart no matter what we say or do... She has made her choice, and she will both live and die by it.

Eli: After all the trouble she has given us up to this point, I'm fine with being thrown a soft pitch at long last... This is more than overdue in my mind.

Chris: Then let's go and finish this... Whether Evenor is ready to face us or not, we know what must be done. That's enough for me.

You set out with the rest of your allies toward Imperial territory where Evenor is hiding. All the while, You are thinking of how You will respond when You finally face her. You hope that your request to speak with her alone one last time before her death is approved. You shudder at the thought of not getting the chance to talk to her again, but You do your best to push it away so that You can focus on the matter at hand. There is too much at stake for You to get distracted.

Soon enough, You arrive at your destination in the Empire. You look out over the building Evenor has made her base, and You reach for your blade on instinct.

Chris: That's where she's hiding out.

Cordelia: And there are a lot of lingering forces buzzing around the outside... I think it's safe to say we've officially found her.

Magnolia: I still can't shake the feeling that this is a bit too easy... For all we know, this could be a trap.

Aisa: I cannot say how she would try to trap us when she is at such a thorough disadvantage... But I would still advise that everyone stay on their toes.

Raithius: Hold on a moment... I think I see her.

You follow Raithius' finger to look at the building in the distance. Sure enough, Evenor seems to be leaving it, though there is something slow and lethargic about her actions. You are uncertain as to how You should approach her, knowing that no matter what You do, it will feel like a poor attempt to reach out to her after all You have come to know.
