At the end of the moon, You awaken from your slumber and begin to prepare for the battle to come. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.
Seraphine: Another battle awaits... I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
You say that You hope this goes well.
Seraphine: I do too... Eli seemed so anxious about it when he was talking to Cyrus and Druilla before. I suppose that's because of the nature of this specific enemy commander.
You say that You want to talk to him before You set off for the battle.
Seraphine: That sounds like a nice idea. We should go and meet with the others.
You nod and start off toward the front of the monastery. Eli is waiting a short distance away from the rest of the group, clearly lost in his own thoughts. You approach him and ask if he is doing alright.
Eli: I'm doing as alright as I can be, I suppose... I'm not entirely sure what to think about all of this.
You assure him that You will be there for him no matter what.
Eli: Thank you, Professor... I appreciate that.
You ask if he needs to talk about it before the battle begins.
Eli: I would like to just to get all of this anxiety out of my mind and body, but... I don't know what to say. I don't think any words will really make this easier. I know what I have to do. I have to take the fight straight to Belenio and make sure he pays for everything he did. I can't let him get away with it. At the same time... I don't know what I'm going to do when I see him.
You nod and tell him that You understand his uncertainty.
Eli: I'm going to do my best to not let that stop me though. I know I'm not the only person who's worked up about this battle. The other Ashen Wolves have stakes in this fight too, and I'm not going to forget that just because I'm thinking about myself too.
You say that You will do everything You can to be there for all of them just as You want to be there for him.
Eli: Thank you for all of this, Professor. I don't think I could say enough just how much I appreciate that.
You smile and tell him that You are happy to be there for him just as Cordelia realizes You are there.
Cordelia: Ah, Professor. I didn't realize you had arrived. I guess I was a bit caught up in the heat of the moment.
Liram: You wouldn't be the only one. This battle has high stakes for us all.
Reed: If we don't get rid of this guy as soon as possible, then he's going to come back and make our lives miserable later on. I can feel it.
Quinn: All the more reason for us to end this as soon as possible.
Cyrus: At least we'll be lucky enough to avoid the Empire with this battle. That's got to count for something, right?
Morgana: That is a good thing... As much as I worry about every battle, that anxiety just gets cranked up higher when we ahve to engage in combat in Adrestia.
Calypso: Then we can be grateful this battle will take us to Faerghus.
Druilla: It's easy enough to assume just what he's doing there... Especially given the current political climate.
Luciana: As much as I hate to say it... I can only assume our enemies have noticed what we are doing, and they intend to target Magnolia as soon as they have the chance to do so.
