At the end of the moon, You rise from your slumber and begin to prepare for the day. Seraphine speaks to You all the while.

Seraphine: I know we need to take care of this battle now, but... There's still a part of me that wishes Herwig could be here. I think he would want the closure of being able to take care of his parents.

You say that You wish he could be there as well.

Seraphine: I suppose we don't have much of a choice in all of this though... We'll see him again one day. We have to.

You head back down the stairs to the front entrance of the monastery, finding the bulk of your army gathered there already. You greet them upon your arrival.

Cordelia: Ah, Professor. There you are.

Raithius: We should be all prepared to set out now... I see no reason to stick around here any longer than we already have.

Chris: Then let's head out. I doubt the heads of House Wessin are going to make this easy for us, so we had better take to the battlefield as soon as possible to end things as soon as possible.

Magnolia: You're almost definitely right about that. We won't know for sure what to expect until we face them.

Eli: I'm a bit anxious about this, I must admit... It feels wrong to have to fight against House Wessin when Professor Wessin isn't here to help us.

Cordelia: We already had to do this once with Schweighen territory. I didn't like the idea of having to fight against the heads of Schweighen territory without Reese since I knew he would want to be there for it, but we didn't have much of a choice.

Raithius: We'll just have to catch him up on everything after he comes back to meet with us. I'm sure we'll have at least one good story to share when we reunite with the forces searching for Lady Aisa.

Magnolia: It still astounds me that they haven't found anything... I'm certain she's still alive, but I don't know where she could be.

Cordelia: We're not going to let her get away with just running away without explaining anything. We have to keep fighting in the rest of the war so that we're ready to face her when the time finally comes for her to reveal herself.

Eli: And it all begins with this next fight... Alright. Let's get started then.

You nod and set out from the monastery with the rest of your forces. You march toward Wessin territory, though your mind is never far from the idea of what is to come in the battle ahead. You feel strange about having to fight against the leaders of House Wessin when Herwig is not there, and even though there is nothing that can be done to change that, You still wish things could have been different.

Your thoughts are forced to come to a halt when You arrive at your destination in Wessin territory. You can see the outline of the estate on the horizon. You swallow back your nerves to the best of your ability and turn to face the rest of your allies.

Chris: Here we are... Wessin territory.

Magnolia: Who are we going to have to worry about going into this battle?

Chris: The lord and lady of the house should be the only ones here. All four of their children have grown distant from them over the years and no longer live here.

Raithius: Given who they've chosen to side with, I can't say I'm surprised to hear their children are out of the picture.

Cordelia: Hold on a moment. Someone is coming.
