piper had gone for a work trip for around a week, this means y/n and i are home by ourselves. y/n's been having some troubles falling asleep.
"d-daddy?!" i hear y/n cry from her bedroom, i got up from my bed and walked to her bedroom.
y/n was sitting up in her crib, tears streaming down her face.
"come here baby" i say, picking her up and resting her on my hip. i wiped her tears with my thumb and swayed her carefully.
"daddy" she mumbles, half asleep.
"yeah princess?"
"cuddles" she pouts, looking up at me her bright blue eyes staring up at me.
"of course" i chuckle, taking her back to piper and i's room.

"daddy" y/n mumbles from besides me, her head laying on my chest.
"yeah love" i ask, pushing her hair back out of her face.
"me miss mummy" she pouts.
"it's okay, she'll be back soon. i promise we can face time mummy in the morning" i say.
"pwomise?"
"i promise"
"i wove you" she giggles.
"i love you too" i say, kissing her forehead.
